Amargosa Opera House & Hotel

Pros +

• The story of previous proprietor, Marta Becket. Kudos to her for creating a space to do what she loved. Kudos also to the group that is attempting rehabilitation of this storied property.
• There is absolutely nothing that any human would like about this hotel.
• History of place Stars at night!! Quietness of location Great price Staff bring available after hours on phone Air conditioner worked great- comfortable

Cons -

• The sulphuros smell in the hallways and common areas. Thankfully the room did not suffer from the same smell as that would have tainted our experience, to be sure.
• This so-called hotel is a complete wreck of a run down dirty smelly abomination. The building should be condemned and the business shut down.
• Only thing is- No coffee in rooms or early in lobby
