This hotel need upgrade the sound proof. I still heard some noise when people started their car even though all the windows shut. It¿s annoying. Second, the coffee maker isn¿t working.

The hotel room was clean and parking was easy.

The room was simple with mostly new furniture. Exception was a sitting chair which was very worn out and look like it should¿ve been thrown in the trash. It contrasted sharply against the rest of the room which was an excellent condition.

This place has very limited parking. Also the room TV was extremely small.

The lovely, relaxing room. Ocean breezes. Mini-frig, microwave and coffee maker. Close to cafes, taquerias, etc. Once in the room, you'd never know you're right along a busy street. Courteous, welcoming Staff. Recommend!

Noisy from next door hotel

Best motel I've ever stayed at. Can't beat the price and it has been recently renovated with great new carpet and sink fixtures.

Did not like that weird people hanging outside their rooms can see you and which room you go into. All the rooms are in an L shape and if you are a female traveling alone it feels sketchy ...also there's no chain lock on the door

It was all about price for us. We got two rooms for the cost of one at other Hotels!

There were only two towels in the room.

The location is great, it looks better in person than in the photo online, it was clean and the amenities were nice. After evacuating due to wild fires, was nice respite.

There was a big issue with checking in that day. Our party, the people ahead and behind us in line, all had issues and the desk clerk was not very polite (and helped the guy behind us first, when the error was the desk clerk's).

Location is great, price is affordable, and the room's large, clean, and comfortable.

Newly renovated, feels new, clean and nice. Did not expect that from a 2 star hotel. Enjoyed my stay. Like the 11am check out time.

Breakfast could use a little work. A few fruits could go a long way. The smell in the office is the one of the Indian stores - not pleasant.

Location was great for me, the hotel was exactly what I expected for a cheap hotel, people were nice and everything was clean and working order just a little old and out dated. Good place to just sleep and have a room to stay in!!

Parking lot was way to small for a big truck and no pool or jacuzzi

It's like an undiscovered gem. The rooms are nicely remodeled, have mini-frigs & microwaves & a coffeemaker. The family/owners show pride with colorful flower boxes on the balconies. Sorted out some confusion quickly. I give ABVI:South 2 stars! Thank you.

I think the highest priority for improvement should be to make the entire facility non-smoking. Although there is a decal on ofc door, guests smoke right outside their rooms. We are highly allergic to cigarettes & began sneezing & coughing - smoke wafted.

Nicer 1 star I have stay in the area! Nicely renovated bathroom and carpet. Ample parking. Walk to places to eat. Well lit and security cameras present. nice shutters on windows.

breakfast offered is very minimal, fridge, a/c and microwave old and noisy. walls need sound proofing. homeless people in the area.

We are return guests to this hotel. We appreciate the excellent service, the lovely, remodeled rooms and the convenience of a microwave & mini-frig. Close to restaurants & Monterey, yet affordable. Deserves two stars!

Location and price. It is a bed to sleep in at night and not much more.

Bed was hard and not comfortable. Staff not very friendly, but overall I did not pay that much for the room. As expected for the cost.

Yes, the mold on the shower curtain. Also, the cockroaches in the room that we seen inches away from my toiletries. Disgusting and not worth the money.

Spacious, lovely room. High ceilings add to the expansive feel. Carpet, bathroom tile all add to ambiance. Great to have a microwave & mini-frig. This hotel should be two-star, not one.

When I arrived, the motel CLAIMED they did not have any reservation on file. After trying for an hour to resolve, the hotel charged an exorbitant room rate. Worse yet, the outlet covers by the sink were gone and wiring was exposed. Major safety violation

My room didnt have a closet. Carpeting could have been more cleaner.
