Pros +
- The location was perfect if you can deal with noise. It?s on a very busy road at peer entrance. I didn?t mind it. The room was decent albeit small. The view was excellent.
- The shower
- The Shore Hotel is at the perfect Santa Monica ocean view location. The room was clean and had a fun, unique design.
Cons -
- It?s OUTRAGEOUS to charge $68 for parking when the lots right next to it are $10-$30. The whole privacy shower shade was weird. We closed. We had to request housekeeping to clean our room - even though they said they would. Our main lights didn?t work.
- The base room price was great, but everything else was very expensive. Overnight parking was $55 plus 10% tax. The hotel ?destination fee? was $40 plus 15% tax. A simple breakfast for two was $50-60. The added expenses were more than the room price.
