Conveniently located only 20 minutes from the Redwoods and 45 minutes from Silicon Valley and the San José Airport, Ocean Echo Inn offers the perfect blend of beachside relaxation and easy access to everything Santa Cruz has to offer. What truly sets us apart is that most of our accommodations feature fully equipped kitchens—with gas stoves, refrigerators, and microwaves—making them perfect for entertaining, preparing family meals, or enjoying longer stays. Our cottages and rooms can host two to six guests, making them ideal for family reunions, weddings, corporate retreats, or simple getaways. If you prefer a more intimate escape, our rooms capture the serene coastal vibe, whether you’re seeking a tranquil retreat or a romantic escape. The location near the water is great. Also the staff were very helpful.
The location and staff were great. Just steps from the beach. Beautiful view. Beach is a small cove.

Cons -

For almost ---$ a night I did not expect for my 2 guests to be sleeping on a pull out couch. The bedroom got very cold at night.
The location is ideal for free, close-to-the-beach parking, but the view from the Inn is not exactly picturesque with all the power lines and tightly packed buildings. But once you're on the beach at Sunny Cove, you'll be glad you came!
We were under the impression that the rooms looked at the ocean. There was only one room with that view. Also you have access to the ocean but only on a cove. So no long walks on the beach unless you want to walk a mile or so.

The room was bright, clean with a comfy bed and huge shower. The staff was incredibly friendly despite their masks, and they went above and beyond to help us navigate the ever-changing health guidelines related to travel during a pandemic!
