Lavender Inn by the Sea

The location is excellent. Moonstone Beach is just across the street. The area is quiet and serene. The view is breathtakingly beautiful.

It was hard to reach the hotel staff by phone. I tried several times and found it easier to just walk over to the lobby. There is 24 hour staff available there.

The staff super friendly, love the location 2 blocks from Harbor and beach. Super clean, the grounds were beautiful. Loved the breakfast and my favorite happy hour. When you first checked in they had 2 sachets of lavender and a bottle of champagne.

It¿s very clean and the location- walking distance to the beach and downtown.

I hope the king size room is bigger.

Very thin walls and oddly placed AC unit . Lobby was not open so had to go to hotel across the street.

The hotel looks to be a little older, but it looks to be very well maintained.

Attention to details: continental breakfast, quality and unique variety; afternoon cheese, crackers, wine; evening, yummy cookies and milk! Outdoor courtyard well-lit, with inviting European ambiance. Rooms, nice decor, cozy, clean, and well equipped.

Only complaint is the lack of counter space in the bathroom. I appreciate the pretty pedestal sink that matches the decor, but would rather have had the convenient working space.

I stayed here 5 years ago and it has only gotten better!! Always a warm welcome and and a wonderful time!! Love all the amenities and breakfast is great! Wine and cheese time is a special treat and it was so nice to sit outside and take it all in!!

The furnishings and bathroom were high quality. The landscaping and patio was beautiful. The little extras such as champagne and lavender sache were unexpected treats.

Charming hotel with amenities. The staff was helpful in guiding us to the wine tasting area, a place to grab a casual dinner and giving us info about a art event on Sunday. Enjoyed the wine and cheese offering and breakfast the next am.

The room is small but had everything we needed. I definitely used the vanity area. It was nice because the bathroom has a pedestal sink, not enough space for a woman with make up.

This bed&breakfast was absolutely adorable and we loved every minute of it. It was unique, intimate, beautiful garden. We had our champagne in the garden when we arrived and we had the pool all to ourselves. The bike rentals were great. We loved it all.

We loved it and the sister hotel brisas across the street looked super cute too. Either one you pick, you will love!

Friendly, helpful staff. Great Continental breakfast and wine cheese and crackers and snacks later in the day. The room was designed to pay attention to detail- lots of electrical outlets and very spacious.

Great staff, Loved the bottle of champagne in the room as part of the welcome. Great food perks - wine and cheese in the evening as well as milk and cookies later on. Probably the best continental breakfast I've had. Comfy beds! Close to pier & shops.

Walls were thin. First room we checked into had a loud AC and had to move into a new room. Not very much seating in the pool area and hot tub looked questionable.

Location proximity to the beach was good. The breakfast, while not great, was nice to have. The room was quiet, mostly.

The room could have used a refresh. It's a little tired, but still fine.

We were warmly welcomed, and the staff were friendly and polite. The room was clean, and the location is close to the beach.

The price felt too high for the overall condition of the room and the building. There was a damp smell, the furniture and appliances were quite old, the windows were not in good condition, and the paint on the walls was worn in some areas.

The room and location were ideal as it was very quiet and within easy walking distance into downtown
