Inn by the Harbor

The Inn by the Harbor is well located for walking everywhere in town. The breakfasts, wines, cheeses,and snacks are delicious and exceeded expectations. The room was very comfortable.

Good price, large rooms, quiet, full kitchen, beds very comfortable, good shower. I had requested side by side rooms as we were traveling with family and it was very convenient to go from room to room via the balcony, esp with a 2 year old.

Kitchen could have been cleaner-the only sponge available was old and previously used, and the bottom broiler pan had not been cleaned-it had foil covering it that still had some greasy remains on it.

We loved Happy Hour with wine and cheese. Took advantage of the use of the bikes to take a 2 hour ride into town on the bike route by the beach. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

The rooms were clean but very dated decor. Hot tub could have been cleaner and hotter.

Service was great, quick welcoming check-in, hospitality wine gathering to late nite wi...I mean milk and cookies!

Plumbing challenge above us caused issue in our sink, upon notice, imediatley taken care of.

Price was on the high side and plastic cups vs. drinking glasses in the room.

Continental breakfast was excellent. Facility had pool and hot tub (both excellent). Parking was adequate and well lit. Staff was well informed, but always seemed to be too busy. We both loved the modern style of the room, fantastic!

Our door lock was difficult to latch.

We loved Santa Barbara and this property. Very well decorated, clean, within walking distance of the harbour. Loved the wine and cheese tasting.

Rather expensive for what we got . I know Santa Barbara is expensive but anywhere else it would be very overpriced.Went across to sister hotel for our early breakfast on departure , but the lady in charge was very rude and refused to let us have anything because we were 20 mins early even though everything was out ready !! We had paid for breakfast . Bathroom could do with a bit of an update . Not too bad though .

Quiet location. Close to downtown. GREAT free breakfast. Nice spa and pool. Free bike rentals!

From the photos and site descriptions, we expected higher quality and newer facilities. Although staff said the rooms were newly renovated, it didn’t appear to be very recent. No mirror other than the one in the bathroom. Another mirror in the main room would be helpful for more than one person getting ready in the morning. Only one chair in the room. Two would have been nicer. Ants were noticed in the unit.

My heater didn't work, shower had a constant drip and my door was lanky. Very misleading photos online

Location was great, breakfast decent, happy hour wine and cheese was great.

We had an issue with the ants in the room. I left a cookie on the table and in the morning the table was invaded by ants. I used sun spray to get rid of them, haha.
