    Pros +

    • The location was convenient. The bed was comfortable and sheets were nice.
    • Great location. You can walk to a lot.
    • The decor and layout and atmosphere were AWESOME!

    Cons -

    • The room was advertised as cozy but it was even smaller than expected, especially given the price. It would have been hard for 2 people to stay in the room. The room had a bad sweer type smell. The room had no coffee and no iron. Depressing view.
    • Parking was a mess, no staff, towels had holes in them
    • The standard Cozy suite is SO TINY. Efficient use of space and high ceilings help, but the sleeping/living area is VERY small. The lot on Haley does not limit how many cars can park there, so you are not guaranteed a spot if you leave and come back later.

Great location, very walkable. Great coffee shop in the lobby; we had a very good pourover coffee and matcha. Nice, modern rooms but pay attention to sq footage. Some rooms are TINY. Prepare for a small space, or book one of the bigger rooms if you can.

Good location, upscale vibe, comfortable bedding, convenient check-in and check-out.

Really low lighting in the room.

Fun to be on State street. Hip colors and comfortable bed looking west to the mountains through arched windows.

Need a phone to register / enter, horrible noise all night long looking at the city parking lot, cafe downstairs poor overwhelmed couldn’t make even toast. Room was very small.

I absolutely love this hotel and stay here every time I visit my daughter in Santa Barbara. The location is perfect—right in the heart of State Street and walking distance to everything. The staff is outstanding: always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Even though there’s no in-person check-in, the GM always greets me by name if she sees me and welcomes me back. The bar and coffee shop downstairs are owned by the hotel, which makes everything super convenient. Shoutout to Will, the bartender—he was awesome! He took the time to learn our names, made sure we liked our drinks, and even double-checked that the chips and salsa were safe for my gluten-free daughter. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they’re super cute with a fun, funky vibe. Always a great stay!

    Not a thing!

    Location is good.

The space is very small and floor plan is unrealistic , plus there is a noisy restaurant next to it.

Location was excellent, central to main strip. Room was aesthetically pleasing and clean.

Noise from bar below until past 10 pm; window from shower to living room - no privacy; light from bathroom (which lit the sleep area) could not be turned down (just off) at night so that it would not wake sleepers in bed if someone else had to go to the bathroom; sink, while elegant, could not be plugged for us contact lens users; no cups in the room for water, rinsing, etc.

    Location

Pictures don’t match the actual bedroom. Overpriced and keycode didn’t work upon arrival.

    3MaureenPosted on: 6-17-2025

Location is excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Rooms were extremely tight without any closet to hang our outfits for the weekend occasions. Very large showers and hand basins in room, separate to toilet!!! Not hygienic. Also, the rooms were dark, dreary and cell-like. No room to stretch or get dressed with another person. No desk or seating area .

Room is too small. Glass shower with no privacy

    Great location. And nice aesthetics.

Two nights and rooms not towels service / replaced. And for the price that’s a shocker.
