Hampton Inn & Suites - San Mateo

I liked how spacious the room was.

I did not like the shower. Water was all over the floor, I had to ask for extra towels to dry the floor.

The modern look, and cleanliness

Cpi;d had used a restaurant and pool, but not a deal breaker.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that I had what I needed and that check in and out was smooth. Also, there were gluten free options for breakfast, which was great.

Oddly, there was no clock in the room. I still appreciate having a clock or an alarm clock when I stay in hotels and I wish they had one here.

The breakfast was good, but I think the team working on replenishing the food was not prepared for a large number of people, it left a little to be desired, but overall it was good.

We ran out of lotion we called the front desk and they sent us the conditioner

Very clean new hotel. Large breakfast area. Great location, easy to get onto highway. Would definitely stay again when in SF area. Several Tesla charging stations which we used.

Everyone was nice and accommodating! Room was cleaned, breakfast was great, the staff was friendly. I¿m suggesting if you come and visit Bay Area choose Hampton Inn. Thanks so much.

Staff was nice and let me check in early.

Room had smell. Bath tube and bath mat had curly hair on it. Next morning while unplugging my phone from nightstand I noticed some clothing on floor between bad and stand. Someone else's under ware on floor between bed and nightstand. Very gross!

Housekeeping was late afternoon when we arrive back so wasn't a great cleaning and our door was loose and rattle no secure lock door no problem with it just seemed to loose

The location is good, room is quiet and safety.

The staff was not friendly, I went the hotel before 3:00pm, I told him if there was a vacant room ,let me check in first,or deposit my luggage ,he asked me left my luggage, when I unloaded my luggage to his deposit area,,he told me you can check in.

The staff was very nice and it had great accessibility to the freeway for traveling around in the area

The windows were not of any quality and the freeway was right behind the building I stayed in so I heard LOUD traffic all night long. When I first arrived I thought the window was open because of the noise level. The bed was hard and the thermostat didnt

Very near traffic. Difficult to find. One room had no hot water; the other had a very slow drain.

A bit of a sketchy neighborhood. Noisy garbage trucks during the night. The property shows deferred maintenance with peeling wall covering , aged carpets in the common area. The property is in need of some fresh paint and repairs, rather than tempo

Breakfast was nice and accommodating. Beds were comfy too. Staff was the nicest!

The sheets kept sliding off the bed while I was laying on it so it was frustrating.

Really noisy in the night (seems there was a big party outside with lot of drunk people) I know it's not allways easy for the staff to be at the top everyday, but there was a lot of garbage in the hallway near our room. Not very serious...
