Queen Anne Hotel

the staff are great especially the guy (sorry didn't get his name) who greeted us at breakfast and kept the area spotless. The location was good. Really good restaurants within walking distance and not too far from activities we wanted to do in the City. Front desk Staff were helpful. We were surprised that they had a driver in the morning that would drop us off at City locations. Nice touch of having sherry and cookies in the afternoon. Comfortable place to stay overall.

Thermostat worked great in rooms. Courtyard area relaxing and peaceful. Comfortable beds, updated modern bathrooms, high water pressure in shower, provided soap, lotion, shampoo. Let us keep luggage behind check-in counter before and after checkout. Let us keep our vehicle parked in the hotel parking after we checked out.

Old smell in lobby area, space in door frame in men’s restroom in main floor when locked where you can see outside.

Really sweet 18th-19th century charm with pretty authentic furniture and artwork. Like a different world. Many sofas to sit on, fireplace. It was cozy and the guests were nice, staff very helpful. The bed was large and comfy, we didn't specifically ask for a baby bed but got that. It was quiet so for relaxation it was right. It was great the hotel was kid-friendly and there were not many things kids could damage. Parking lot was available.

Breakfast was not great - very basic, seemed like a low quality, wished more actual ceramic and less one-use cups around coffee machine, and hot water option in breakfast hall. Some of the artwork seemed quite unprofessional and quickly done pieces of the painting style of 18th-19th centuries.

Great breakfast served daily along with afternoon tea & cookies. Beautiful Hotel, friendly staff, clean room and comfy bed!

Wish there was a shelf or something else in the bathroom to set personal belongings on, sink is in a very small vanity with no cabinet or shelf.

Location and parking are very good. Away from any congestion in a nice neighborhood adjacent to Japantown

The hard boiled eggs at breakfast are difficult to peel

Broken furniture, no safety devices in bathtub, (hand hold, grab bar, shower head not adjustable for height) cold floorsdoor to the room was in poor repair, (light gapped through margins, windows leaked cold air, torn curtains, overall room was cold, tired and in need of updates, will not have me or my family stay there again.
