Located 5 minute walk from San Francisco’s lively Union Square District, Layne Hotel features guest rooms with cable TV. Offering service to San Francisco International Airport, BART Powell Street Station is 10 minutes’ walk away. Guest rooms at this hotel include a ironing facilities and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. USB ports in all our Private Bathroom Rooms near the bed. The Warfield rock concert venue is 10 minutes’ walk from Layne Hotel. The Curran and A.C.T. Geary Theater in San Francisco’s Theater District are both 5 minutes’ walk away.

- not 1 thing.
- My favorite part was the beginning when the staff forces you to pay a $250 deposit and they go over the terms and policies with you like you are a criminal.
- nothing. This place is a hostel not a hotel.
Cons -
- The hotel staff was rude and extremely suspicious of all patrons. They even went into my room 1 hour before checkout while I was dressing to make sure I was leaving. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
- Literally everything. It was a two star hotel. I assume because there was a toilet and an elevator. Unfortunately, when we were there, both the toilet and the elevator stopped working halfway through our stay. Worst. Hotel. Ever.
- This place is a hostel not a hotel.
