Buena Vista Motor Inn

Staff was accommodating for my request of an upper floor, I called before as well as mentioned on the day of my stay and I was provided with that room. Location was the best part about this hotel, I suggest requesting a room on the top floor and away from the street as we had no problem with noise. Also on the top floor there is a balcony where you can see the golden gate bridge!

The room only came with 2 rolls of toilet paper and two towels for a 5 day length of stay for two people. Also the shampoo, conditioner and body wash all felt like hand soap just dyed different colors! I think what would really make this hotel would be microwaves in the rooms, being tourists we often ate out and it would have been nice to heat up our leftovers.

Location is great, good value for money, clean, well run, free good parking and very friendly staff. Nice dark room. Comfortable.

Unless you are at the 2nd floor garage you are dragging luggage up the stairs. Not all rooms are equal.

The location is good and convenient. In-property parking was also a plus

The building and infrastructure were very old. We had two rooms in total. One room wasn’t super clean and bedsheets were smelly. The other had a plumbing issue in the bathroom.

Great location, very close to the main tourist attractions, and free parking is a big plus.

It was quite noisy, and the neighboring building is too close to the our room window.

The shower could be a bit improved for better pressure (3rd floor). The room door locks card reader had hard time reading the card and unlocking room (minor).

I liked the location and free parking. There was also a little rooftop deck that we enjoyed at the end of the day & met some interesting people. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was right on the bus line that takes you down to Fisherman’s Wharf.

The room itself was small and needed some work—paint, towel rack in bathroom about to fall off wall. One of the main window screens was sliced in half.

The room was clean and tidy. It was located in a great location and seemed very safe. The front desk was very helpful!

It was older, but being where it was that was to be expected.
