Ocean Beach Hotel

overlooking the beach and main drag (bars, shops)

Great location, comfortable room, friendly, helpful staff

The staff was very helpful and it is close to the beach, about a block walk.

The parking was first come, so it was stressful to not know if you would get a parking spot. The blankets on the beds were like sheets and it was a little chilly,

Got what i asked for! looking to get out and away and enjoyed the eats the streets and the beats oh and the sheets.

our room was at 2nd landing felt like they were coming in and landline not working and couldt replace it. thats it!

The building is very old. Rust is on the door. Only one portable air conditioner in the room. No screen window. So you cannot open the widown and patio door to ventilate without worrying about the bug. Though the room is clean

I had concerns about this hotel after reading some reviews, but had a great experience. The hotel had amazing views and was very comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the surf and surfers. The courtyard was peaceful and relaxing.

Some areas needed repairs. The metal trims around the doors were starting to rust, although the hotel was working on cleaning them. I'm sure the location near the ocean doesn't help.

This hotel was much better than the pictures online. I knew it was a great beach location... just grab coffee and walk across a little street to the beach. New furniture and bedding, clean, fresh paint, nice staff! It had a wonderful feel!

It's proximity to the beach and it's open courtyard. Very pet friendly. Just an all around great place

close to the ocean and downtown OB activities.

Right in the heart of the action. Beach and pier are steps away. Close to multiple restaurants, shopping , pharmacy, ect.

T.V. was outta whack but I think it was just temporary because they are in the process of getting digital. Room and and bathroom are a little bit cramped but not bad for price right on the beach

Location.

This is the worst hotel I've EVER been to. The toilet shattered out from the bottom as I sat down. We were told we would have to pay and wouldn't be getting a new room. Next thing I knew we were being evicted for their awful quality rooms. DONOTSTAYHERE.

The location is great. It has a charming courtyard that the rooms surround and the beds were super comfortable.

It's run down. The ceiling was stained and mildewed where water had leaked in. The shower wouldn't drain. There were no bedside tables and the bathroom is very small with no place to put your things. The price is ridiculously high for the shape it's in.

The rooms were sort of small but since it's right by the beach it didn't matter too much.

Found a dead fly on the pillow - the beds were so close together it was kind of ridiculous

First it was right on the ocean beautiful views from the room absolutely beautiful. Second it was right on a strip of stores shops to get souvenirs ,clothes,Mexican food,sushi and burgers. Basically any and everything bars I could go on but why book andgo

Ocean view room was a little drafty for the lady and the room was a bit small. Besides that no problems at all.

The view was amazing. In a fun neighborhood. Right on the ocean

We stayed in the Dickson King suite and the ocean view was breath taking to wake up to, and watch a sunset while cuddling in bed. And the courtyard was beautiful, I sat out there with my morning coffee people watching. Really, pure perfection.

The staff was great, room was amazing, atmosphere was great. I really have no complaints. Just repair wise the door to our suite stuck and was difficult to open/close. Other than that I was more than satisfied.

Location - it's right across the street from the beach. Good price for the location.

Motion-sensor lights in the bathroom kept coming on all night - even with the door closed.
