Rodeway Inn San Diego Near SDSU

I like the location and price. The breakfast is decent. The staff is always nice! I think for me the only problem is the rooms are very old and when you walk in, they are very musty and smell weird. But they are clean. I do stay here a lot. I just wish they could upgrade the rooms a bit.

Unfortunately there wasn’t anything good I could say about this hotel. It was more of a motel

Very run down, the towels smelled like it was not dried completely, the entire room had a very bad smell, our key card kept dis functioning multiple times, the soap on the bathroom sink looked reused and placed back in the plastic wrapper and re wrapped, the bed sheets were dirty, the drawers and desks were very dusty and looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. Majority of the outlets did not work and the carpet was filthy. Just walking on it barefoot for a few minutes made our feet look black.

The area is nice and quite yet accesible to everything.

Location is good. Comfortable. For the most part it was clean.

Our room was next to the freeway so it was a little loud. Dog was barking in a room connected to us. Ice machines didn’t work.

Some of the staff were attentive and respectful

The manager was rude and very unpleasant

it’s a great location and a great value. the only thing is when I book on booking.com there’s no place to request first floor rooms. maybe I’m not seeing it. otherwise, I love staying here!!

I could not get a first floor room.
