Location was excellent

Renovating....so very loud from morning to evening. I stayed out of the room during the day to avoid sounds of hammering

There was no room service provided for our two night stay. Rhis was a surprise!

Excessive noise outside every night (room on second floor in front of hotel).

Location, very close to courthouse, Horton Plaza, and gasslamp district. Valet parking was convenient.

Lower street facing rooms can be noisy due to downtown gasslamp location.

Room was spacious and clean.

Parking fee outrageous when there was trouble dropping off the car because no one was attending. I almost got towed and had to come back down. Extra $15 add. fee if you had to come back from driving anywhere after 11pm because they were gone then!

Clean and large room.

Don't plan to sleep here between midnight and 2 am. The bars let out and the noise level is VERY high--and this was a Tuesday and Wednesday night, which I was told by the staff are "quiet" nights. I can only imagine what the weekends would be like.

Clean, well maintained rooms. Friendly, courteous staff.

Maid service was not provided. Parking rate of $32.00 per night.

The staff were amazing, checking in on us to see if we needed anything. They brought our luggage to our room which was above and beyond great service. The room was great, very spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The staff could tone back the sales pitches for the time share opportunities. I was unaware that this was a time share place and I purchased my own room for the two nights stay not realizing that I would receive so many phone calls to my room. We didn’t mind the first encounter when we got there which took out about 10 mins of our time before we reached our room, (we just got through a 3 hour drive and wanted to go strait to our room but we are very patient), however, the 3 calls to our room were a bit much. First call was to see if we needed anything which was a nice gesture. Second call was to see if we needed anything and if we were interested in timeshares. Third call was all about the timeshares and opportunities. It got to the point where we were semi dreading the next phone call because 1. It got annoying and invaded our peace and 2. We kept telling them that we were not interested. Now this was a wonderful place and we would love to come back because everything was exceptional but it was a little excessive.

From the staff to the amenities and the location, everything was wonderful. We weren't interested in the timeshare but we would definitely stay here again.

They shut off the water all day the one full day we were trying to rest, they charge 40$ for valet parking every night... Which comes in handy, but just shouldn't go left unmerited

Ideal position for getting around San Diego. Room was large, clean and with a well equipped kitchenette. Desk staff all very pleasant and helpful

I received a call weeks after booking, 2 days prior to arrival, saying that due to circumstances, they could not honor my reservation. This is a first for me, personally, and I travel a lot.

After several emails to the hotel & 1 to Booking.com I still unable to receive a copy of the invoice for the stay to enable me to reconcile may credit card statement, very poor service.
