The entire time there was only one working elevator which was hot and slow. I even had to walk up eleven flights of stairs to my room because there were so many people in queue

I loved the suite when we just wanted 2 beds. It was great.

The parking situation. We did not follow the directions for the discount to the tee so paid too much. Why can't we use the parking lot right next door?

Dingy, needs an updating. Elevator was dangerous. Difficult to get in and out of with luggage.

Simply not a 4 star hotel in any way, shape or form: decades old, claustrophobic cage elevators, scuffed aging furniture, peeling paint, ancient plumbing coming out of the wall, only scorching hot/freezing cold shower water. We felt scammed and upset

The staff was very kind and had excellent recommendations about what we could do during our stay

There was no water pressure in the shower. The elevator is original and scary to be in

Paint falling off the wall. In room abs bathroom . Sink was broken and leaked water on my belongings. Elevator broke down twice .

Location of the hotel

The elevator was outdated, the carpet was dirty the rooms were small . The staff was friendly there was no free parking and parking was a block away from hotel. There was no complimentary breakfast and no water in the rooms.

The rooms are atrocious. Dated, dirty, and small. The elevator is also a death trap. It is not safe and should be replaced immediately.

It had some historical landmark appeal? It was incredibly OLD! Built in 1912. Maybe some considered luxury features back then, but NOTHING 3 star about it now!

We hated everything about this hotel! It was rated as 3 star and I wouldn't even give it 1 star! Built in 1912 and looked it! Old venetian blinds that wouldn't close, a window ac unit which barely worked, a tiny shower, parking a block away for $40/night.

The pictures of the rooms online are deceptive. I expected a much more cookie cutter 3-star experience, the room left a lot to desire. The hotel is a historic building, which is charming, but our room showed a lot of wear and tear.

The hotel is located right by everything in gas lamp which is great.

The hotel is very old and not taken care of. The rooms are very small and the rooftop is still closed after months of working on it.

DISAPPOINTED. For the number of stars this place has and for the amount we paid, we expected a lot more. Place is very old and looks run down. Rooms are very small contrary to what they look like online. Walls are nasty. Bathroom/shower is disgusting.

Very old, smelly and poorly maintained. The elevator was sketchy and not the safest to use. The clerk made it clear that your arm could get caught if the gate was not closed properly. Our room key did mot work. I had to go downstairs 3 times. Did not stay
