Hotel Z, Gaslamp San Diego

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean, they have bikes to use in the daytime, unlimited water coffee, and tea.

There were very few channel options that worked and the streaming option was not working. The rooms so not have refrigerators or microwaves. We were not told of an amenity fee until we checked in. You have to pay for parking.

The location for us was amazing! it was close to everything we wanted to do.

my only complaint well two is that 1. there is no parking.. which wasn't an issue until we got a car. They only other thing and it not so much of a complaint, but I thought the room was a little small... but it was not that big an issue.

Convenient Luggage Storage: I appreciated that the hotel allowed me to store my luggage after check-out, which made my travel plans much easier to manage.

The resort fee was not clearly disclosed, which added unexpected cost to my stay. I also left my charger (worth $50) in the room and was returning for my luggage, but they didn?t flag the item, which felt like a missed opportunity for better service.

After booking the room and being charged, keep in mind once you check in you will be charged almost another $90 for an amenity fee as well as $50 a night security deposit. Not to mention there was no free parking. We had to walk 10 blocks to park for free

The location

Rooms are only serviced after you stay for two consecutive days. They do not make the beds, etc. We were only given two towels, we asked for more and they had no one available to bring until after 930 so we had to get dressed and go down and get ourselves

$28 Amenity Fee/Day, Room 117 was NOISY, but got moved when requested, replacement room was much better, no In-room safe,

VERY friendly and helpful staff. Loved the quilts and bed and lobby experience with water, free drink, bike rental!

The lady at check-in was cordial and informative. The room and amenities were nice. Nice to get a doggy swag bag.

Great San Diego Gaslamp Quarter location. I loved staff - they were the most nice, warm and helpful folks I've ever met at a hotel. I loved the ambience of a pet friendly hotel. Great coffee.

The room needed a more traditional desk or work station. I had to clear the coffee maker and accessories off the available table top space just to make room for my laptop. I loved the hotel, but wouldn't recommend it for business travelers.

Great staff, very nice and helpful. With wonderful little amenities and extras like pineapple water and cookies to bikes and complimentary daily drink.

Yes, the parking options were horrible with little help from staff for instructions. Dogs are great but we stayed in a room that had a yelping dog next door, all night long while their owners went out and partied all night. Also, tv options are bad.

I liked how close it was to Petco and other restaurants. I also liked the little touches. (Robes, coffee, and drinks)

There could be a mirror in the actual room, but that is being picky.

The room was clean. The shower head was nice.

Hotel charged $45 "resort fee" for amenities not needed, like bike, water, board games. But NO usual features of hotels WITHOUT resort fees, like parking lot, pool, fitness room, ironing board, microwave, frig. And no towel service as room card stated.

Love the thought into reusable/sustainable business practices throughout the hotel. Very nice staff, very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Bed was extremely comfortable. Good price for location. Fun pineapple vibe.

room was too clean - chemical/ammonia smell floored me as I walked into room. Check-in a little clumsy - arrived about midnight. Front door locked and lobby lights off. Finally got in, employee emerged from dark office and I finally got to my room.

No pool, I have bites all over my body and there is no parking
