    Pros +

    • Pools were very family friendly, and had wade in portions perfect for toddlers
    • The location was beautiful and peaceful.
    • Great location! The grounds are nice, and the main pool is beautiful. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful.

    Cons -

    • Lots of nickel and diming for things like parking, resort fees, and late checkout
    • The rooms were older and had a musty/moldy smell
    • The mattresses were not great, and the shower was horrible. The waterfall pool could use an update. Wish there were more fire pits.

Water intrusions under our door and in closet, getting items n floor of closet wet. Also, people kept walking across our patio to get to beach when we were on patio, including an ice cream vendor with a large cart who almost ran over my legs.

I love the close proximity to the bay & the resort grounds, the ducks there are super cute & you can even purchase food to feed them

    10Verified guestPosted on: 4-26-2025

The location of the room was great right on the water exactly what I wanted

I thought that the restaurant there was a little expensive but you know that's just the way it is everywhere

    8Verified guestPosted on: 4-4-2025

The location was perfect for us. We were able to walk along the beach.

The hotel charges $46/day for parking. The room was damp and musky; towels and damp clothes did not dry when we left them out to dry.

Everything was there. Food .ocean bay. Little golf. They rent boats.bikes. little store. We enjoyed our stay.

    Ants in cottage .

    10SusanPosted on: 3-4-2025

The location was beautiful! It was too chilly to get in the water, but otherwise a fantastic resort!

There were some superficial things, like the toilet paper holder wasn't flush and not painted--more detail type of issues to an older room.

    The location is perfect

The staff are so rude from lobby to the ones working at the barefoot restaurant.

    2MarinePosted on: 7-16-2024

    Location

Bed was dirty. We found 3 dead bugs on the bed sheet and black dirt stains. It was clearly not washed and workers were very rude.

    1Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-18-2023

The security and room service staff were excellent! Although the fact that I needed to contact them in the fist place was disappointing .

The front desk staff was terrible. Very rude and not helpful at all! My room was dirty, smelled like mold and there were dead bed bugs under the glass next to the bed!! I had to contact them to have a room change. I can¿t believe that I paid $--- for1 day

The area of the hotel is amazing. Close to the beach and softball fields that my daughter was playing at. I liked all the recreational amenities offered at the resort.

The front desk customer service was terrible and not helpful. She did not remotely attempt to rectify the error made on their end. Highly disappointed that I paid so much for such poor service.

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-2-2023

Amazing resort, the size, the amenities, the location, the scenery. Plenty of things to do even within the resort.

The room. The bungalows are old, meaning strong musty smell and poor sound isolation of the airplanes. Also the air conditioner is very loud and the curtains are not blackout enough. Hard to get a satisfying sleep.

    6Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 1-24-2023

    Clean, comfortable bed.

    Dated.

    10LesliePosted on: 8-25-2022

I love the landscaping and the freedom to roam around and everything is pretty everywhere you look. Proximity to the bay and the pools and the restaurants is key. There was something to do all the time. Our family had so much fun.

I read it is changing hands soon so you could see a few areas that were neglected when you drove around as they are probably waiting to update once that transition is in place.

    7FrankPosted on: 8-24-2021

    Grounds and location are great.

There was a ¿system/computer¿ issue and despite there being only a few taken tables for breakfast, we were told it was a 30 minute wait because the servers needed to write the orders down.

    1NicolePosted on: 6-28-2021

Nothing wish we never booked here

I¿d never visit this hotel again. The staff were rude. The room description online was incorrect. Bugs and lizards crawling around our room. Hotel was dirty and room service tasted like old 7-11 heated up food, disgusting. Hotel staff were clueless rude

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-20-2021

Location, cleanliness, And the responsiveness of the staff.

We had a king size bed. The mattress I would say needs to be updated. For a resort the mattress shouldn't leave you with a soar back. Everything else is very cool though.

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-6-2021

    Staff, room, food

lots of hidden taxes and fees. I was supposed to pay --- per night and ended up paying --- per night after mandatory parking and additional fees. NOT COOL!
