Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Old Town

The Clerk from the front desk did not told me that I need to pay for the parking. The Hotel deduct the money from my bank account with out ask me first

Great location: close to major attractions, less traffic vs downtown, many Old Town dinning options. Ample and safe street parking.

Hotel is poorly managed. We were given a room that matched the booking upon check-in. Our room was not serviced on one day.

The people are amazing great customer service and honestly a pleasure to stay with!!! If only the bugs in my room were as enjoyable..

The bugs (nats) infested in my room!!! To the point I had to throw away good food and change rooms !!! Then the next morning there was no sleeping in because I woke up to jack hammering outside my window LITERALLY!!!

Location

There was a hole covered with toilet paper above the shower, when moved there was another hole and blood on the ceiling. That hole was cover by a bandage. You can make up that story, truly disturbing.

The staff was really gracious and friendly. They were helpful the whole time. They had a treasure chest for the kids to pick from, board games to check out for the night, and games on the patio like corn hole and giant Connect Four.

Paid parking was pricey, but San Diego is like that.

The location was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was fairly clean, but the halls were dirty and some minor maintenance could help the place look so much better.

Food was good

Four different transactions none of them were legitimate except for the toothpaste and $100 for ¿incidentals¿. They charged my card although I had already paid my 2 nights upwards of $--- to which I now must wait to be reimbursed.

Never got to stay

I went to check in they said they couldn't rent to me and I wasn't aware 9f any problems from before they were rude to I told them last time 8 was there I complained of my room telling they came and sprayedy room smell never went away and they blamed me

Cute old style hotel in great location to Old Town! & super close to airport!

Parking is horrific, we had to pay additional $30 to park in the hotel garage. Jacuzzi was broken, maintenance never came.

The location of this hotel could not be better.

When we walked in it smelled like wet carpet and mildew a little. The cafe stopped serving coffee at 10 but we were so close to old town we just walked over and got coffee there

The location was the best part

I did not receive the room type I reserved. I was given a handicapped room with 2 queen beds. I chose a king bedroom. The hotel told me there were no rooms left

Clean Hotel great location to all we did in San Diego. Awesome staff.

AC unit was not working first night. Desk called maintenance showed up installed batteries issue resolved.

$27 per night parking Breakfast is not included and is pretty expensive

Location in Old Town and by freeways. I was able to walk to a great Mexican restaurant and also find street parking 2 blocks away. Good bed, coffee machine worked and tv was very good.

You must pay for parking but I didn't use that as I found street parking for free. Bathroom had only one light and was a bit spare compared to the rest of the room. Mini-fridge was extra-mini, no freezer section.

The staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming.

Parking was incredibly tight for a minivan, and it wasn¿t terribly convenient for $27 per day additional charge. Be sure you understand this before booking.

The front desk staff and the lobby were great. Location on the perimeter of Old Town but still 0.5 miles from the transit.

Hotel misled about facilities, Hot tub appears to have been broken for some time;insisted pool open but tarped for most of stay. Room poorly maintained - AC unit, frig, other aspects. Bed significantly sagged to one side. Housekeepers loud at early hou

The beds felt like I was sleeping on rocks and I woke up with a sore back. The pillows were too flat and not comfortable. Also the air conditioner was so loud it sounded like a plane was landing everytime it turned on. I am a very light sleeper.

Great location! 5 minutes walk to Old Town. 8 min drive to Seaworld. Plenty of street parking nearby (don't pay the $25 parking fee!)

Clean room, nice location, easy walk to Old Town.

I did not like the $25 (1 night stay) charge to park the car (taken from incidental deposit)!
