Walking in everything looked clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
When I walked into my room, I felt like I stepped back into 1990. Everything was old and dated except for the TV. The pillows for the beds are the worst thing ive ever experienced. Didn't sleep the 2 days I was there. Checked out early and just went back home.

It'a a modern hotel located out of central San Diego but with easy access by car in about 20-30 minutes. The neighborhood are good with other hotels, supermarket, gas stations and good residential streets. The restaurante for dinner or breakfast are OK, nothing special but not bad.

The room was clean.
One of the elevators didn't work, so we had to wait a long time going up or down. One of the maintenance workers left a razor blade and other tools on the table in the pool area. After contacting the front desk, no one came out to remove the tools. I also requested a room with the Pool view but it wasn't a good view because of the structure of the building.

Our stay was wonderful. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The location was perfect for the venues we were attending. We were celebrating my daughters birthday and the staff of the hotel went above and beyond to make sure her birthday experience was top tier for the entire week. Viktoriia was especially attentive and kind, it was so greatly appreciated! This has become our new favorite place to stay. Thank you again Doubletree team!

Wonderful property, great location & comfortable rooms. Only complaint would be food quality from room service. Ordered 2X and both were sub par. This place would be perfect if food quality was better
