The day I checked out

1. Room had molded and smelled so bad we could not stay in it. Windows were screwed shut and inoperable so could not open to let fresh air in. 2. Not recently updated as described. 3. Free parking is actually not on site. 4. Room was never cleaned

location only was nice, everything else was not worth the Price I paid to stay there. It was a rip off!!

The bathroom smelled like a whole can of bug killer was sprayed and I couldn't tolerate the smell, it was SO BAD!!! The guests next to were so loud all night long, didn't get much sleep at all. I will never go back there again.

Small room. No elevator. No parking. Bathroom window fell out into shower upon arrival. Had to switch to another hotel

Location! Right on the beach close to good restaurants all within walking distance

Only 5 parking spots! No check in lobby or office you have to register or check in at another hotel 2 blocks away. Veery very slow wi-fi . No one came to clean my room are Bring clean towels even after I called the office at the other hotel

It was quiet and on the beach.

There was only third party wifi and only one bed. The office staff wasn't very personable.

Had to go to another hotel for checkin/out because there was no staff at mine. The bathrooms were pretty gross. Room was perfectly adequate, but tried to spend as much time outside of the room as possible.

Perfect location

Carpet is icky. Needs to be replaced. During my stay there were 3 spiders and one cockroach. Because of this the room didn't feel clean even though the linens were.

Location was good especially if your young but if your older with kids. Not a good idea a lot of partying around beach real close but kinda alot of bums hangen around area looks shady AF in the night

Room is small for paying so much. No AC and the tub is gross rusting

It's near bars and restaurants and the beach.

It didn't have ac, the front desk worker was unbelievably rude from the moment we checked in and called with a question, the stairs were so far apart I fell and got hurt, having to keep the window open all night made me feel unsafe to fall asleep.

NO Parking,room , NO AC, portable fan, had to open windows in unsafe area in room 110 which was very outdated, unmaintained room, 2x4x3 board holding up bathroom sink, broken door dead bolt that would not lock, plastic bag over smoke alarm, broken blinds

The location was the best part since it's just steps to the boardwalk/beach!

Lack of A/C was not good. Luckily, the weather was okay & it didn't become a big problem.

Location is close to the beach, bars and restaurants.

Ac did not work, no blow dryer as stated on website, stuffy and hot when you first walk in.

The location is awesome. Just a few steps to the beach and local bars & restaurants. You are literally on the beach. Tip: don't take your car out at night. Parking is a premium. $20 uber ride to gaslamp.

The staff could have made me feel more welcome. The reviews are right the floors are dirty but the beds are clean. Floors get dirty probably from people going to the beach.

It is on Pacific Beach.

Pillows horrible,carpet dirty, plug-in smashed in,noisy thin walls. Decided to stay longer at check-in giving the clerk a Credit card, and were assured we were fine to stay in our room. Staff yelled at us for not checking out in the middle of the stay.

No AC no pool Had to walk 2 blocks at 2am to check in because no service after 11pm at diamond hotel roaches alive in kitchen Holes in wall inside shower that lets shower water into wall. sandy floors makes me 2nd guess if anything cleaned

Can't say enough good things about the staff and location.

The room did not have any A/C or parking for guess. Its first come, first serve city street and every one is waiting for a space to open up. They do have additional properties to park at, but they filled up just as fast, with in a 10 minute walk.

Right on the beach and close to everything in Pacific Beach. Staff was friendly and helpful!

This is definitely a 2 star motel, room was clean, bed was horribly uncomfortable, the motel provides 2 towels, no hand towels or washcloths. The kitchen literally had 2 forks, 2 spoons, 2 cups, etc. Parking is a nightmare.

We had previously stayed at the property and misunderstood the sleeping capacity.

The property need to be updated and painted.
