    Pros +

    • Brand new, great location, 10 minute walk to Petco Park
    • Nice bed and access to Fifth street
    • The hotel was a little hard to find but it is located in an awesome location, close to all the clubs and bars and restaurants. Valet parking is a bit pricey but they literally keep your car safe instead of you having to go find your own parking.

    Cons -

    • Despite new construction and white noise machine in room, expect to hear street noise and bar loudspeakers on weekend nights. 5th Ave is heart of Gaslamp. Shuts down to motor traffic at night and turns into large pedestrian bar crawl.
    • The parking situation and finding hotel was a mess, because it was inaccessible from street and forces you to pay an additional $50 plus dollars for overnight parking. Front desk staff had a negative vibe on arrival. Cheap infrastructure in room.
    • I liked everything about the hotel!

I loved the location of the hotel. It was in the middle of gas lamp, which was where we planned the spend the night. We were close to a lot of restaurants/bars so it¿s perfect for the night life.

    No close self parking

    It was well kept

My sheets had stains on them and my the room felt crowded and kinda dark

It was great! Perfectly located in gaslamp district with walking distance to many restaurants. The room was clean and nice.

There was a clicking noise in the door mechanism in our room every 10 to 12 minutes keeping me awake all night long! It was frustrating because we had a funeral to attend to early the next morning. But the staff was very understanding and compensated me for the trouble so that made it better but still did not get any sleep the whole night. I hope they fixed the problem.

We love the hotel and the room! Services was great and so was the location.

One thing we didn’t like is that we left the hotel at 11 am to have brunch and came back and our room hadn’t been service! We called and they say they start cleaning at 8. We did receive extra towels when we asked both days.

We really liked the hotel. We really love the pool and lounge area. I do wish the pool hours were longer. I would’ve loved to sit on the rooftop at night to get some outdoor relaxing time. It was ridiculously hot on Sunday and Monday. We did not spend much time up there during the day.

The street noise inside of the room was ridiculously loud. And I realize you can’t do anything about that, except the noise canceling sound machine in the earplugs already in the room. That was a great idea. For the most part, it worked the trash truck, however Monday morning at 5 AM was not canceled out by the noise machine. Booo One crazy silly thing about San Diego. I had the hardest time finding black iced tea. Which I found to be kind of crazy.

I loved the location I love how everything I was going to during my stay was only a couple mins away , I love the streaming source on the television bed was comfy . No complaints the staff gave me a free drink at the bar for my birthday which was really sweet .

I didn’t like how expensive the valet was I just used uber this trip but for people visiting it’s a little crazy , and was also sad that you had to pay for breakfast when I booked I thought it was free breakfast , I didn’t get to see the roof top I didn’t know it closed so early so got to miss out what that experience was and the pool was closed my whole stay which is why I booked and the roof top .

The facility itself was very nice. They also have two bars, one on the ground floor and one on the rooftop.

There is no parking from the facility itself. You have to pay for parking at about 60 dollars per night.

Location is great, bed is comfortable, the staffs at the hotel is great and helpful, I have nothing to complainIn short, this is a great hotel if you are deaf

This place is two noisy for two reasons.(1) The hotel is next to bars and dancing clubs, and you will hear them until, I think, 1AM -- this is quite bad for some of the rooms and I had to switch room once to escape it. But this is not the hotel's fault and I do not blame the hotel for this -- I chose this location and so this part of the fault is mine, my score of 3 does not reflect this(2) Every room in this hotel has an extremely loud sensor. Its sound is extremely loud and sharp, essentially like a gunshot. It makes a sound every 15min if you move. So, if you can sleep while hearing a gunshot every 15 min, this place is for you. But it is certainly not for me...

    The rooftop heated pool :)

That the roof top bar was closed my entire stay as this was a reason I chose to stay at this particular location. The staff was great :)

    Bar and lounge

Closed pool and limited food at market

    8SephoraPosted on: 11-7-2025

The hotel was nice. The staff were friendly and very helpful . my room was really nice and modern.

It’s a double edge sword when it comes to the location. The noise level from the club’s surrounding the hotel were insane if you’re in your 20s/30s or if you like to party, regardless of your age then it’s the perfect location.

The convenience of being around everything in the gaslamp

It’s a small issue but the ac wasn’t working in our room but it didn’t matter because we were out and about and it was pretty cold at night.

    1ArianaPosted on: 10-6-2025

    The location was centrally located.

-The had no balcony rooms available even though we clearly booked a room with a balcony. -When this issue was brought up, the woman at the front desk was rude, dismissive, said there was no manger available. She told me to call booking.com and began complaining angrily to another employee within hearing range. -When I submitted cancellation request through booking.com, the hotel pretended not to get the request. It was a if they had never worked with booking.com before. -To get the cancellation approved, we spent hours on hold with multiple phone calls to booking.com and this hotel over multiple days.

The hotel was well-appointed within the mix of Gaslamp's restaurants and local shops. I never felt unsafe while walking around the general area.

The address to the hotel was not always consistently recognized when arriving/departing via Uber.
