Pros +
- The location and just one staff member that was very polite and helpful
- I believe that we paid way beyond what we should have paid for this hotel. Nothing has been updated you can tell in years, probably since the 90s. We chose this hotel bec it was more of an affordable option to be closer to downtown San Diego.
- Balcony access for fresh evening breeze and morning coffee outside....
Cons -
- The night desk clerk was a rude and frightening man. He called a friend of mine horrible names.
- One staff member in the was very ignorant and made my stay uncomfortable because of his way of asking me a question a professional would never have asked
- The bathroom light in my room kept on turning on throughout the night. I told the receptionist about it and he stated that he was going to talk to the manager and they were supposed to call me back to talk about my experience. They never did.

What we didn¿t like was walking in and just feeling outright disappointed with how much we spent, $--- for a night and the hotel did not meet our expectations.

Microwave did not pop my popcorn it just sucked up the bag but I think upfront knew about it cause I bought snacks and decided to leave some chips but the concierge man said it was on his treat....
good value for the money the desk clerk was xlnt and waived the $20 by suggesting I join the a Wyndham Rewards. I would've taken the free breakfast but slept in.
Parking fee $20 which I didnt know prior to check in.
The balcony was the only highlight.
The shampoo came in packets that were impossible to open, all of the towels were stained and the sheets had stains too. The room was freezing as well, no matter how high I turned the heat on, it never seemed warm. The room walls are super thin.
coffee maker in room refrigerator inroom and microwave comfy beds nice tv
water leaking in bathroom my bathrobe fell off toilet thats how i found leak ants in bathroom big black bug by frig in morning lights didnt work between beds i will never stay here again
The staff was great. I felt safe and looked after with Bill.
It needs some maintenance but you can tell they¿re working on it.
Location was close enough to walk to Petco.
Keys had to be programmed 3 times. Room had dirt where not cleaned. Sticky stuff on table from previous guest. Remodeling in numerous areas but not finished and very dirty. Breakfast was less than appealing definitely not what was expected.
Closeness to MCRD.
None of the things they say about the hotel online even on their actual website or true. You will have to pay for parking. There is no breakfast. The room has literal holes in the floor and matching ones in the walls in various stages of repair.
The location was convenient to San Diego areas.
Desk attendant yelled: "YOU ARE AN IRRESPONSIBLE ADULT! YOU NEED TO LEARN TO BE A RESPONSIBLE ADULT!". Plumbing worn out. Holes on the bathroom door, no hook to hang robe. Door jamb rusting, cockroaches around stairs. Charge for parking, website is free
Decent location. That¿s about it.
Place was filthy and in horrible repair. Floodlight shining directly into the window at night made it near impossible to sleep (curtains were thin and horribly inadequate). Elevator was broken. Having to pay for parking was ridiculous. Terrible.
one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The handle to the sink fell off in our hands. The walls had spackle on them. The elevator didn't work. The pillows were lumpy. A car alarm went off all night and when asked about it they said "oh that happens
It¿s not worth it that money lease then the motels
Not safe, always noisy they use old material
The location was perfect for attending a ballgame at Petco Park.
I was surprised for a Whyndam hotel the low standards that took place. The front desk is super slow. Not much different than a Motel 6 when it came to cleanliness or quality of beds and room. We had one packet of coffee in the room for two people.
Location is right off the freeway. But you don't hear any freeway noise. Beds were comfortable and great view from the balcony
It was close to the stadium
The walls are dirty the pillows are hard and the walls have liking problems it was a bad room and hotel
There was NOTHING I liked about this hotel!!!
It was awful. Dirty, smelled bad, burn marks everywhere but said no smoking was allowed, towels were dirty, covers and sheets smelled and looked unclean. Several other things especially the fact that the microwave cord did NOT reach the outlet!
Not much.
No heat inside of the room. I was told that their maintenance worker had been out sick. The shower had no hot water. After reporting these problems I received no update on the boiler status. It was too cold inside of the room to shower.
