    Pros +

    • The look.
    • Modern room and excellent service!
    • Friendly and helpful staff, very clean, loved the decor and great location in Point Loma. Near downtown, Liberty Station and easy/close access to the airport and Amtrak.

    Cons -

    • They have space for a pool or hot tub. Also the air conditioner didn't work well when I told them at the front desk I was told it takes time to work correctly also free parking should be included or a discounted rate if you pay in full for your stay .
    • 2 things: the bathroom doors do not completely close, and there is no ventilation. $37 a night valet parking. Adds up very quickly.
    • Parking costs and processes are structured to increase margins rather than to improve the quality of guests'stays. Bathroom hardware was janky and not well maintained. Very few rooms will have any decent views despite the hotel being close to the water.

Great location for exploring the greater San Diego area.

This is such a wonderful hotel. The decor is delightful and unique. The staff is excellent! The outside seating areas for guests is wonderful. We will definitely return!

I'm not certain the shutter doors on the bathrooms provide the privacy desired for everyone.

Great vibes and location in Ocean Beach. I loved the trendy boutique feel of the hotel. It also felt a little smaller and more intimate, and we loved the restaurant and the courtyard. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay again!

    Not much

No pool. Not for families with children Nothing to do on grounds, only sit una small square sitting area with fake grass and tall cement walls with no view Staff charged me for parking as a standard. I didn¿t even have a vehicle during my stay.

Location. Decor. Staff friendliness. Quietness.Bed slept good.

Nowhere to put small clothing. No drawers. Carpet could be better. Refrigerator didn't keep items cold. Restroom gave limited privacy.

The location was wonderful, close to the airport and all of the sites I wanted to see. The house keeping staff was exceptional, as well as, the head chief asks his team! The bar restaurant staff was wonderful to with the exception of one of its personnel.

The front desk staff, were not friendly or helpful. They were unable to answer any questions, stand-off, & treated us differently compared to the non Black guests. My best friend & I had issues from day we checked in with our room.

Great location for where I needed to be (Point Loma). Easy to get to Shelter Island , Liberty Station and the airport I was only there for 4 days and I enjoyed waking up to the sunrise on the Marina.

Only minor thing was that the drain in the shower and bathroom sink were slow draining and when addressed with the concierge it was never resolved.

Modern rooms and great courtyard, lobby, and location!

Hot water didn¿t wit right when my girlfriend wanted to shower. Only cold water from 10-11. Hot water seemed to come back after 11am.

From the friendliest and most accommodating valet to the sweetest and most personable front desk staff, this hotel has been by far the best in San Diego that I¿ve stayed at. This is a hidden secret and conveniently located near the universities.

Lack of nearby parking. The parking was much higher than other hotels ($37.50) in the area, but the valet was awesome and worked very hard to earn that fee for the hotel. Other than the parking price, the hotel was the best!

    Room is OK

We ask for napkins, tissues, and hair drier, but they have nothing.

Modern decor and freshly updated. A block from the Marina

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-26-2022

The hotel was super clean from the lobby to the restaurant to the room. The staff was great during the entire stay.

Valet parking is a must (at $37 per night). The only parking is street parking in the neighborhood which means that without valet you could be forced to park in the residential neighborhood across the busy street.

    9EnriquePosted on: 5-17-2022

Great location. Friendly restaurant staff and hotel staff.

They guy working late Saturday night was a little weird. Was no where to be found and had to enter building through side door.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-23-2022

New, clean, nice staff. Nice to have restaurant on premises. Only 1 1/2 blocks from huge marina with lots of deep sea fishing boats and sailboats. Also, Point Loma Seafoods is also near with lots of fresh seafood as well as prepared items.

Lots and lots of dogs. The location was a turn off. Lots of very nearby hotels that were probably built in the 50s and the neighborhood looked old and tired.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 2-26-2022

The vibe that came with it. They have a bar inside the main lobby and it was very interesting and nice. They were playing games inside there and even had Cherokee going at one point. The rooms did an above average job sound proofing everything.

Not very much to complain about. Area is nice, the food around the hotel is great.

    10JustinPosted on: 2-8-2022

We loved the style of this hotel, you could tell they really put a lot of attention to all the details. The shower and the bed were amazing! We would definitely recommend anyone looking for a nice hotel in SD to check this place out. The staff were great!

New hotel Boutique feel Convenient to North San Diego

Bathroom door had open slats - like a bifold closet door; - sound easily carried between bathroom and main space Parking on-site is valet only. (over $30/night) . We found a public lot nearby with 72 hour free parking - a short walk away
