Candlewood Suites San Diego by IHG

We liked the hot tub that it was never busy and that it was at a perfect temperature. I have an autistic daughter so she really enjoyed that. The kitchen amenities were great and we loved having a full hallway, separating bedrooms

When we entered the room, the staff had to remove an air-freshener unit, but once we got in, we could tell the room had reeked of weed. Also, the front bathroom toilet didn’t flush unless I opened the lid to make sure the basin was full of water.

Front desk was very friendly & really liked how the room had pots, utensils, extra TP & blankets. The bed was very comfortable. Super clean room.

It is off the main street but close to freeway entrances. The staff were incredible, so helpful and very friendly. The gym was well equipped and clean. We were able to do our laundry for free. The room had a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, stove!

Nope, everything was better than I expected

This hotel was very clean and VERY quiet. They did not charge us for parking which some hotels do in that area.

The front desk lady was very nice and has great customer service.

The restroom smelled a little and needs an update.

Neighbor room next door blasted loud music at 7am; sofa bed is too small; TV didn?t have option connect to the internet; multiple times calling the front desk and no one picked up the phone.?,

It was clean, quiet and convenient!

I would have liked drapes that could close.

Went for bootcamp graduation with extended family, the room was perfectly set up for our needs, spacious clean and functional, the location was easy to maneuver avoiding traffic, the staff was pleasant and helpful, attractions/food easily accessible.

The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive.

The family staying above us seemed to have a dance party every night, just when we¿re trying to get the kids asleep

Nice, quiet hillside property with spacious room. Comfortable beds and linens, great kitchen. Friendly, helpful staff.

The manager was absolutely the most pleasant person. She was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Even recommended some food places close by for my family of 6. We had so much space for all of us and will be back.

Very kind and accommodating staff. Property overall was clean and cared for.

Unfortunately, our room specifically had some problems. Leaking a/c and questionable stains on the ceiling and in the sink. Staff apologized for the inconvenience and offered to credit our parking in return for the inconvenience.

The room was nice and they provided me with dishwashing liquid and plenty of clean towels.

I did not like the fact that my room opened up to the outside. When I made my reservations you all told me the room would open up on the hallway. I was visiting by myself so I would have appreciated being given what I was promised.

Toilet seat needs to be replaced. Looked very old and worn. I liked that there was no carpet but it made it noisy with the people walking upstairs. Bathroom also needs a fan for better ventilation.

I got charged a $100 incidental fee, which hasn’t been refunded yet. It’s almost been a week.

This hotel was spacious and very comfortable. I loved the gym and the bed. We will definitely be back as this establishment is a great deal and in a great location.

It had air conditioning

I was not told about the 8 dollars a day parking until after I checked out.
