Oceana Boutique Hotel

The location

Dirty, broken blinds with no blackout curtains (very bright lights just outside our windows), old workout chairs, advertised a kitchenette, but was only a small refrigerator and microwave, threadbare towels, no closet rod to hang clothes

Bullet holes in the filthy room. Dirty sheets. I stayed for 2 nights, accidentally left my hotel key in the room at 9:15pm, ended up having to sleep in my van until 10:30am bc no staff onsite. I just drove from central Oregon 15hrs, was refused refund.

LOCATION, POTENTIAL

ROOM WASN'T READY AT CHECK-IN TIME. Do not fault staff as there was one cleaner. Toilet paper was spent and had to wear sandals in shower as I was worried about the party room from Saturday night.

Apparently "Boutique" in San Clemente means cheap and run down. Avoid this place regardless of the deal you think you're getting. Beds are lumpy and noisy. Questionable water and a strange smell. Hope you don't run out of toilet paper, no spare. Avoid!

Heater didn?t work as well.?well only be on for like 1ina then shut off n wouldn?t turn back on unless u completely turn it off for about 20 mins then it?ll work again for another 5-1mins.

The hotel smelled like mold & cigarettes. It had old dark blue sheets and the bathroom was dirty. It was also in a residential area where there were people sitting outside their open garage playing loud music. We saw a different room but it was bad too

Location

Cigarette burns on the bedspread, a TV that did not work, no real amenities for the price. Would not stay there again nor would I recommend it.

dirty, suspect people around, windows not safe, looked not a bit like the pictures, Guy at the reception was very confused, came into the room and booked a new stay immediately

Nothing it was horrible

It was the worst place i have ever stayed, every drug user in San Clemente showed up there to use there drugs, one girl got her purse stolen, one person got there car stolen, two people were fighting there, police showed up 3 times in one day, HORRIBLE

Rooms were absolutely disgusting. Checked in, went up to my room and housekeeping did not clean from the previous people staying. We got a different room and everything seemed fine until we noticed either some sort of animal poop/throw up on the blanket.

Location, but strange clientele and no service to room- has to pick up everything at desk and dump trash

unusual behaviors among residents- suspect drug use, sleeping outside room, one kid was spray painting a bike in back where we stayed, no cleaning of room and had to go to front desk for everything. Our air conditioning wasn?t working

The location! Just a short walk to the beach.

The beds are really bad and need a to be upgraded.

Absolutely NOTHING!!

The worst experience EVER!! The local sheriff came to the door and said a known local drug dealer typically stays in the room and he suggested we leave especially after 2 strangers came to the room obviously looking for said drug dealer!! Traumatized!!

I could not even access my room. There was no answer to a phone call and no office open for room key retrieval. There was no mention in their website that their ¿office¿ closed at a certain time. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Emergency lodging. The hotel I booked a month earlier refused me service because mgr said he didnt like my visbe. I had nowhere to sleep. 69 year old female with back injury with nowhere to sleep. So I took only room left at Oceana. They were very nice

I only took the room out of fear of sleeping in m car. Luckily I had a sleeping bag in my car. Otherwise, I could never stay in a room like this. But the mgr was very kind, apologized for room. Their other rooms are not that bad. But they were sold out.

Room smelt strong of cigarettes, not clean, no towels, bed wasn¿t made, door was wide open. Place was a dump.

It's safe and quiet and the whole staff was very helpful

Hard to find a like, but the location was ok, lucky my car didn¿t get broken into. Kind of sketchy people all over.

Wifi is terrible, room was not clean, bugs crawling all over the place. Just lucky this was a one night, last minute booking. Would never, ever stay at this place again!

The weather

The room stunk of strong sulfer. Unbearable and made me sick. I went to the front desk after I couldn't handle it any longer. The front desk clerk was rude, unhelpful and refused to reverse the $--- I spent for the disgusting room.

Couldn't check in and didn't receive a refund. The next day, they placed additional charges on my debit card.
