The Tides Oceanview Inn & Cottages

Absolutely nothing they were completely rude. The guests next to us and above us kept us all night and we didn¿t sleep until 330. Had to get up the next morning at 6:30.

There¿s a lot we didn¿t like about it. They were completely rude there. We had to call the customer line 4 times in the middle of the night to stop the noise next to us and above us. The manager told us to go deal with it on her own the second time.

The description and pictures of the hotel did not match. Almost to the point of false advertising. You pay more for an iv mean view to only be looking mostly at the parking lot. My ocean view was peaking through the corner of broken blinds.

I love the charm it's in a beautiful location. It feels tucked away from modern world. It needs to have a community room for games. Community BBQ would be nice. The bathroom window was creepy,and the business behind the room was loud. I enjoyed my stay.

The lack of microwave,the shower drain is sharp . Hurt my foot. Really need some pest control. Won't say what I found under my pillow,right before leaving. Please spray the whole place. Extend fence to block noise and sight of trash bin from nextdoor buil

Perfect for guests with pets, grass area is right in front of doors. Stuff was GREAT !

It needs remodeling, but it was very clean and stuff was super nice and helpful!

The location!! Beautiful view, very close to the beach and within walking distance to the town.

The pictures of the room were in NO way accurate. It was very old and needed updated. Not a single picture was from our room. There wasn't a microwave, even though there was a large kitchen. It says pet friendly but be prepared to pay an extra fee.

Fantastic location, easy to access from freeway, close to food, great views of coast and beaches.

really surprised about $45pet fee. Chose this motel because they are pet friendly. Notice of hi charge is really hidden in the reservation process, and $45 is major increase in room cost! Bad surprise! Oceanview is obscured with rusty chain link fence

Room had a quaint, cozy feel. Like home...but at the beach. Bath and Body Works toiletries; fluffy, large towels, comfortable bed. Amazing ocean view from the King Ocean View room. Friendly, easy-going staff. A short walk 2 streets up for beach access.

The only complaint we had was that there was no beach access at the hotel. The stairs were damaged and had been closed down.

Loved the view and location even if there wasn't access to the beach I enjoyed the stay

The location was killer , the staff were amazing. The small cottage's were kinda cool , just really old. Having a whole street to just the guests was pretty neat. Wi-Fi was spotly at best. GREAT view...

1st time staying with The Tides...It was a little high. My husband is a SR...not discount without having an AARP card. We did pay about $49 per nite more than the other site. I really think the room business is shorting the public. Check in @ 4pm .

Older hotel but clean and comfortable.

Their advertised WiFi did not work. Our iPad would connect to the wireless router but there was NO internet access! And no one could/would fix it. So I will not use this hotel again because of this problem.

The receptionist, was cordial and helpful. She gave us 2 fans to counteract the freeway and street noise. The welcoming basket was appreciated.

Room was noisy the closest to freeway, it only had blinds no drapes to block out the light from the two large windows. Marketed as ocean view when the room mostly faces the courtyard. It's overpriced. The bathroom was dingy, the tub is old and discolored.

Location was convenient and great. Older hotel but rooms are clean and comfortable.

There's no direct beach access but it's only a very short walk to the hotel next door which allows beach access.

The bed's were very comfortable, the room was nice, and the hotel is overlooking the beach, gorgeous view, courteous staff.
