- The owners are unreasonable and greedy. I got covid 3-days before my dream vacation. Roses refused to refund any reservation costs. When life happens Roses benefits at the expense of their guests. May karma bless Bed of Roses.

Would have preferred a shower rather than a tub...too hard to maneuver for shampooing. Could have used a grab-bar to facilitate getting in and out. The rooms are up a long flight of steps which could be icy or difficult for guest with mobility issues.

It's the gateway from Yosemite and Oakhurst has quite a few good places to eat. The bathtub is big and clean. The couple who run it are friendly and helpful. They gave us maps and ideas on where to go. The property itself is nice.
Yes, the room is too small. We didn't have a night stand or a table of any sort. I had to put my tea cup and glasses on the window ledge. The bed was slightly slanted. The breakfast was not too good the first day. Very little fruit on the plate.
My husband and I liked the peace and quiet. The breakfasts were wonderful with plenty to eat especially since we were hiking in Yosemite. The owners were wonderful! Very helpful and we enjoyed their company during breakfast.
