Best Western Plus Monterey Inn

The room was very spacious and clean, beds were very comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

The only thing that would make this hotel better would be if it was located on the beach.

I liked the location, it was within walking distance of many restaurants and offered free parking.

The walls are INCREDIBLY thin. I could hear the room next door snoring clearly. The doors to the rooms slam shut and it shakes everything on the floor. The soap/shampoo/conditioner smelled good but it was very drying.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Parking is free. Had 24 hour hot tea and espresso machine in lobby. Rooms had a kuerig coffee maker. Ceiling fan in rooms were nice since there is no A/C.

Breakfast could be a tad better. Its very basic and bland. More variety of fruits and breads. Crispy bacon instead soggy bacon.

Nothing!

No air conditioning, breakfast was below par, and it was SO LOUD! You could hear traffic all night long and people walking up and down the halls.

Hotel good. Room not so good

My room at the back had a business with a LOUD screw air compressor. Garbage came at 4.30am. Didn't sleep much!!

The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This is our second time staying here. The rooms are clean, and the hotel is not too far from the pier.

The beds & pillows so comfortable, the hot tub was great & are room was conveniently next to the lobby. The breakfast was great, not the brown back of just pastries & juice. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, hashbrowns, yogurt & lots more goodies.

The room didn't have air conditioning but it was ok in winter time, couldn't imagine the summer time, it would probably be boiling in there.

Outstanding customer service. Very clean, comfortable and a great location.

The people in the room above us were very noisy. It sounded like kids were running around beginning at 6 a.m. There is no A/C available in the rooms so you have to keep the sliding doors open for air. Made me nervous sleeping with the doors open.

Thin walls so we were woken up by others in the night.

Nice view from balcony of our room. Very close to fisherman's wharf and beaches. Hot tub was nice and relaxing.

Only bad thing was the people in the room under ours were out on their balcony until 3am yelling,laughing,& playing music on Thursday night.and it kept me awake.

Spacious rooms double king beds in a quiet area.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was fantastic. It¿s also very close to fisherman¿s warf and the aquarium. The fire place in the room was a plus.

Very clean no pets and great breakfast options and it¿s so quiet . The staff is very welcoming and respectful :)

View of forested hill was great. Desk staff was wonderful. WiFi was good. Breakfast was really good.

High shower head ~7' and low water pressure. Pls raise water pressure and have movable shower head. Cold water intermittently declined during shower. Very noisy family upstairs. Families with kids s/b on 1st floor.

Clean, friendly knowledgable staff, everything worked the way it was supposed to. Easy location to dining, shopping, coffee, the pier. I stayed a couple days.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and felt welcoming. I will stay here again.

Easy to find, free parking

They put me in a room adjacent to the elevators, it sounded like the elevators were in my room. I finally had to ask for another room. The night front desk manager was very pleasant and accommodating-he got me into a new room right away

No A/C,water temp kept changing from very hot to cold during shower.
