The Stevenson Monterey

The room was nicely appointed and the beds were very comfortable. It also had a really nice shower. Everything was really clean at the facility inside and out; hey clearly care a lot about their business. It was inexpensive but really nice!

The shower lacked shampoo; there were only “liquid soap” and “body wash” for options. It would have also been great if the sink was outside the main restroom to help families get ready faster. Neither “con” were issues for us. We’d stay again!!

CLEAN,... so many llocal hotels that are more affordable are so gross!

My only issue was that although there is a refridgerator in the room, it is not plugged in and I could find no easy way to plug it in. Also it took me a minute to understand the mircowave is available in the lobby area.

Location was great, very clean!

It was loud at night, woke up a few times due to loud noises.

The location is excellent to get around Monterey, but far enough that you can enjoy a quieter experience.

As the hotel is directly next to a gas station, light sleepers will need to bring ear plugs!

Bedsheets didn¿t feel clean at all. Non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes.

The parking was quite easy, cleanliness was maintained, microwave was provided in common section

The hotel management is clearly sharp. They were very transparent about the cleanliness of the rooms and the Covid Protocols The room was spotless and the bed was fabulous. Probably a very recently purchased mattress. This was a very nice hotel.

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was able and willing to help with everything. The location is in the center of everything and easy to get to. We can't wait to go again.

The staff was friendly. And the room was up-to-date and clean. The bed was very comfortable.

The room was great, but the exterior of the building left much to be desired. Also, none of the rooms faced towards the ocean.

We had a room with two queen beds. Plenty of space to spread out. Extremely comfortable beds.

The garage parking is challenging for a SUV. Signs request that smaller cars park in the back portion, yet patrons with small cars ignored the request. This made it extremely difficult to park.

Walk-ability to the Wharf. Fairly easy to find.

Tight parking, thin walls, weird street access.

Perfect location. The hotel was older but very clean & well taken care of, bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent...loved the waffles. They had ample parking. I would definitely stay there again.

I loved it here the Location was AMAZING. You could get anywhere quick from there. Plus staff was friendly always said good morning. Bus stops at each corner and a convenience store in practically the same parking lot. Over all great

THE PARKING SUCKED!!!! NO WORDS CAN EXPLAIN the horrible parking especially if it was a busy weekend the parking alone is the only reason why I will not recommend it and I will not say that again

Was in a good location in downtown, close walking distance to many stores and restaurants.

Noisy. So noisy, the other guests, trucks, the cleaning staff...everything was noisy. This is the main reason i would not tell friends to stay.

Hotel was in a great location but in fortunately I didn't have a great check in the day of my arrival .. The customer we had to wait over an hour for a room I don't think I would ever stay again..

Upon check-in we arrived a little early we waited until 2 o'clock and there was still no rooms available we had to wait a half an hour + before we got a room there was a couple they came in after us and the clerk gave them a room before us..
