Spindrift Inn

Right in the middle of Cannery Row and on the water.

There is no AC, but was not needed.

The valet parking was mandatory if u had a car. I would of liked the choice to park my own car.They told me it would be 5-10min wait. Valet parking often took 10-20 min waiting for them and making me late for scheduled events.

Wonderful experience, the room was great! With th3 fireplace and the ocean just outside the window, the staff was friendly and effiencient we enjoyed our stay

The location and corner room with ocean view. Hotel employee was excellent as there was an issue with our reservation and she provided an excellent solution.

The wine happy hour could have a little more variety of cheese and crackers as it was very limited and not a lot of offering. The wine was closely guarded behind the front desk area too.

Amazing location, very relaxing, right on the cannery row.

Housekeeping was lower than expected. Although we didn't need the linens/towels changed (on request only), we expected at least trash etc to be taken out and bed made. I did not know that even general house keeping was also on request only.. (was it?)

The best thing was their breakfast. Next to that, the location was ample as we attended the days at the aquarium.

We did not want to pay valet parking and fee, so we parked in covered parking a few streets over. It would have been great to know that in advance. In that case, we might have gone elsewhere for lodging.

Hospitality of the employees was excellent, they provided detailed info on parking/valet options, dining spots, & more. The location was perfect, the room itself was beautiful & the happy hour at hotel was a bonus! Highly recommend Spindrift Inn!

The location is perfect to all attractions Cannery Row has to offer! Great restaurants & bars all right there! The room was spacious & clean, the bed was comfy & cozy! Valet parking was a plus. The staff were exceptional!

Great location. Attractive room. Staff friendly & responsive. Continental breakfast nice & sufficient.

Room wasn¿t ready on time. Room, particularly bathroom needs paint maintenance. Didn¿t affect our stay, but keeps it from being the best.

Location was great! On the beach right in Canery Row.

VERY loud being on the street side, even with the windows closed. Beds are extremely hard and pillows flat. We ordered their complimentary breakfast service, but it never arrived.

The Inn is a throwback in time and beautifully maintained. The fireplaces in each room combined with the decor and view make it an unforgettable experience

It can at times take a while for valet to bring the car around.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the private balcony with chairs and the fireplace in the room. Having a sauna in the room was an extra treat. Breakfast delivered to the room was great!

Everything was wonderful and I would definitely return again.

The staff was not personal and I did not feel welcome.

Had the best room ever viewing the water. Windows opened for fresh air and fire to keep us warm. Best Inn ever.

Having to park on the street with metered parking or pay Valet fees of $32/noc to have your car parked off site away from the hotel!

The location is amazing. The room has so much potential.

The mattress = ridiculous; could have folded it over, no support. Used bath 3x but would not call it larger than normal; not for two adults. Water only stayed half full before draining, not deep. Tried to light fire twice, smoke alarm both times. Not sexy

Room overpowered by smell of smoke from fireplace which we did not even use.

The location of the historic hotel right on Cannery Row in Monterey makes this a great place to stay.

I had an issue with the front desk staff that I did not appreciate at all the attitude from the woman at the front desk.
