Muir Lodge Motel

Smoking by other hotel patrons, and that meant a wall of smoke outside my room. I ended up leaving early in my stay, checking out on Saturday at 8AM

Awful. Your hotel has a pay later option when booking meaning it’s an option to not prepay. Which is your choice mind you! Cannot cancel . The treatment for not being able to cancel a reservation was disgraceful These people have no business running mot

New remodel is a big improvement. Complimentary items were a nice treat. Bed very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

Said they had a breakfast. Which consisted of 2 plastic wrapped donuts in the room.

Location. Bed and chairs were comfortable. Liked wood floors instead of carpeting.

Red splatters on wall above shower stall - blood? Finishing work between main room and closet not tacked down - kept coming off. Outside area needs to be cleaned up.

Room selection was for two beds but the link must have been crossed for 1king. I was very careful in my selection but didn't look at the entire email confirmation. She tried to charge me $20 per night more. The bathroom smelled like cat litter.

Very clean and pleasant rooms.

Parking was not sufficient for number of rooms. We came in late and had to park where are car was marred by a large truck that had parked over the line. I also left something in the room that was not reported as found.

Smells like horrible old spice replica with cigarettes. I called BEFORE 11a.m to verify rate for additional night. He looked it ulp, said same rate. O tokd him id pay sfter showering. Showered and went to pay. Female in office said charge rate $15 higher.

The room was very,very clean. Most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on!!!!!

Didn't get breakfast. Like the quiet location.

Bed was a little bit uncomfortable.

It didn't appear that breakfast was an option there, but if it was I probably would have had to skip it because I needed to get going early. The location was very convenient for where I needed to be, and the room was comfortable and clean.

Location was good and the one staff member I interacted with was very pleasant and helpful

My main objection was there were not enough towels or anyplace to hang a damp towel up

Friendly staff. The motel looks old and dated outside, but that's simply "vintage" historical signage. The rooms were very clean and well-appointed with modern appliances, fixtures, etc.

Something weird about the WiFi: my Android system ID'ed the hotel router's SSL "certificate" as not legitimate; could have been hacked. No outdoor trash cans, so any stinky garbage must stay in your room overnight. Area is definitely sketchy; leave nothing in your car!

The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in... MUCH better than I expected at a motel! Staff was friendly and helpful.

Easy in and out. Few guests. Clean and welcoming.
