The River Rock Inn is Mariposa's oldest motel. Located 40 minutes’ drive from Yosemite National Park, River Rock Mariposa Inn features a spacious sun terrace. Free WiFi, free parking is included in all rooms. Rooms offer a seating area, a cable TV, and an private bathroom with free toiletries. A private patio or 2 partially separated rooms are featured at Mariposa River Rock Inn. Private check-in and check-out services are offered. A restaurant and bar is onsite. Bass Lake is 45 minutes’ drive away. California State Mining and Mineral Museum is 3 minutes’ drive away from River Rock Inn. The house was constructed in 1891 and the motel as constructed in 1941.

Very safe location, easy parking.
Location in historic district was great for walking and easy driving access to Yosemite. Hotel is similar to a cabin, there is no manned front desk, no person to talk to at night but they did answer when you called the number. Cafe on site was cute.
Everything was perfect will definitely book there again.

Cons -

Not sparkling clean, and hot water was intermittant.
Photos online did not match room. Clearly we were not in one of the remodeled rooms. Wifi did not work to allow for working at night in the room. Parking lot is small, with multiple SUVs it is hard to turn around. Breakfast option was disappointing.
Easy Check in, Room was awesome friendly staff will book again in the near future.

Surprisingly acceptable WiFi (for such an old building. Friendly, helpful staff (one person located on site. Comfortable beds, good water pressure in shower

Since it is an OLD facility (Oldest in Mariposa, historical), there weren't many AC outlets. We came in on a Sunday afternoon, so the coffee shop, gift shop was not open.
