Pros +
- The room was great although not worth 1200 usd. And our room wasn’t ready at check in time which is already late at 4 pm. The pool is lovely but NOT with tons of screaming kids on the weekend. Don’t go unless you have kids and want to be around other people’s kids yelling and crying all day.
- Amazing staff, beautiful accommodations and grounds, great gym and spa onsite.
- It was beautiful and calming Michael, our waiter, was top notch and we enjoyed our meal.
Cons -
- Did not like how many kids were there. The pool wasn’t relaxing. They should have an adults only pool for the price of this hotel. Staff was rude except for the concierge who did everything to try to improve our stay after speaking with him. He definitely saved the day. The checkin staff was completely stoic and couldn’t care less that we were wondering at 4:30 why we still couldn’t get into our room ( check in was at 4). Pool sever was nice and a hard worker so this next part isn’t his fault necessarily but they had not even one of the mocktails on their menu. We asked for hot sauce and ranch for our lunch. It took 30 mins to get it. It seemed like he was the only person working out there poor guy but service form the restaurant and bar is not what it should be when you pay this much to stay there.
- Maps were a bit confusing. Taking a walk or tour around property is encouraged so you can you learn your way around if you are staying for a few days. Many gated areas were not marked in map and it was not clear if access was permitted for guests .
- Cafe was a bit pricey for what we actually got for a breakfast.

Most pet friendly property I’ve ever been to, elevated aesthetic and good food
Customer service felt understaffed, more attention to sustainability would be welcomed
