This hotel features an indoor heated pool, hot tub and gym and offers free Wi-Fi in every room. La Purisima Mission State Historical Monument is 3 miles away. The traditionally decorated rooms are equipped with cable TV and a coffee maker. They have a seating area along with ironing facilities and a hairdryer. Lompoc Days Inn is just steps from North Side Shopping Center. River Park and Vandenberg Air Force Base are within a 15-minute drive.

Location and indoor pool which I didn't use.
It's the cheapest room in Lompoc. As such they have no incentive to improve the condition of the motel - at least I had hot water in my shower today. But it was too hot and couldn't be adjusted. Exterior doors to stairs don't open w room keys.
The price. It represents great value for Lompoc.

Shower fixtures did not work well. Could not get hot water to work. Tried to get a down stairs room with no success. No elevator. At 84 yrs old, a ground floor unit or elevator would have been nice. Next month when I book I'll need downstairs please.
Their core business is providing temp housing to agriculture workers. Motel guests are just the side hustle.
The exterior is very run down, which doesn't inspire confidence for guests. The indoor pool has been closed for a long time due to Covid. The key card lock in an exterior door that leads to stairs didn't work.

Air conditioning worked. Bed was OK. Wifi worked.

No hot water at all because motel was full. They knew this to be the case but did not warn me ahead of time. Shower handle also broken. No credit given for hot water issue.
