Laguna Brisas - A Beach Hotel

Location was good, parking was easy, nice view of the ocean. Bed and pillows were great! Friendly staff at check-in.

Looks/smells like it was freshly painted (not well), new floors are very uneven. It just does not feel like a very nice hotel inside. The "balcony" is shared walking space to access your room, not private.

The room we wound up end was perfect for our stay. The balcony was the best feature. There was plenty of space.

The floors/carpet could have been cleaner. And the drawers on the dresser wouldn't stay closed once we put our clothes in them...used some tape to overcome that.

The staff were great and did all they could.

The 3rd and 4th floors have aged badly with many of the rooms without dressers drawers and the Jacuzzi tubs are filthy. If you stay in this 2 star hotel stay on the first floor. That floor was remodeled a few years ago. I don' know about the 2nd floor.

It was in a good location, relatively quiet, had adequate parking, and the swimming pool was heated. Front staff were pleasant and helpful although severely understaffed at busy times.

The resort fee's a joke.It is not a "full service" motel at this time.There are no handicapped rooms & 2 bed rooms have no accessible showers.Fridge froze all our food. Maid service inadequate.Rooms bare w/o pens/paper.It was a chore to get things needed.

Friendly staff, great location, pretty clean

Poor sound isolation in rooms, Our room faced PCH so it was so loud that we were up all night When our neighbors talked just in a regular voice we heard them like if they were in our own room

The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly.

Hotel is in a prime location everything is walking distance. The pool was closed for renovations but we enjoyed the beach they provide umbrellas and towels.

Good location in terms of walkability to beach, not a good location for quiet, too much road noise.

Too much road noise & could here neighbor next door & above. Need thicker walls & windows. Also pool & jacuzzi was closed, but they didn¿t say that when I booked it. Also to go breakfast was not great.

Location near the beach

I don't like the extra $25 tagged on to our hotel bill. You already have our charge card information so there's no reason to add this on and then the customers have to check their credit card statements to make sure it's refunded.

The location was excellent. The parking was easy.

The rooms had tons of road noise. The hallway carpet was very old and needs to be replaced. The mattresses were lumpy. The shower head was old. I had tiny ants. The toilet paper was low quality.

No Breakfast in the morning, No make the room daily never cleaned the room.

Location was wonderful, room was clean, bed was extremely comfortable.

There was a weird pungent smell when we arrived in the room.

with out a doubt the friendliest staff i have come across in a very long time. so genuine and helpful! thank you land very nice location within walking distance to restaurants, just about 50 steps to the beach. cant wait to return.

It was close to where I needed to be

No assistance in finding room. Multiple levels hauling luggage. Stairs poorly marked and fell down two steps. Construction going on and the fumes were overwhelming. Bathroom ceiling had water damage and pieces were falling in the tub.

The staff was all very sweet and helpful

Our shower still had long black hairs on the walls, the AC/heater unit stopped working right away, and the location was right off highway 1, so it was very noisy all night.

Room was dirty. Smelled of mold. Wallpaper peeling off walls. Staff was rude. Front desk clerk was not wearing her mask. Keys did not work. Never again. Not even free

The bed was quite comfortable and clean.

Yes. The remote for the in-room jacuzzi did not work. I returned from dinner at Mozambique restaurant. A huge round wet spot on the rug at the foot of the bed. The front desk was told this upon check out. They apologized. No discount. Disappointed.

The jacuzzi bathtub, the huge room ,location across from the  beach. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and kind. The  manager  was so sweet the beach got closed early because of high tide and he let us go back to pool and swim .
