Nothing, it's just older which doesn't bug me

hotel employee and his family were so friendly and helpful. Nice amenities: pool, hot tub, clubhouse, fridge, micro, coffee, free parking. The location is amazing! Adjacent to Lake Tahoe and just a few minutes walk to the public beach, restaurants and shops.

Our room was clean with new floor, counters & fixtures but still needed some upgrades. Wallpaper, baseboard & furniture was fairly rough. Some might perceive that as dirty. Sliding entry door handle was jiggly & loose, hard to figure out lock.

Run down, no coffee pot , pool out of action , shower head needs replacing, lumpy bed.

So much to love! 2 minute walk to the lake, manager was super helpful & kind, room was bigger than anticipated for the price, there was a ping pong room, gosh I could go on and on haha

Tub was a bit dirty in the cracks of tile, but a simple wash down fixed that up. A cleaning lady was a bit rude, but we simply waved her off. Lastly, wish there was a designated smoking area away from the rooms so smoke didn¿t creep in disturbing others.

Prime location within walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants, etc.

Pool not being open when we first arrived. It opened one or two days later.

Hotel employee is great! He really helped to make my trip excellent. Great room, snacks and coffee were provided free of charge. My car broke down at ski resort. They extended extra night at discounted rate and it was on a weekend night too. Great location t

Location was great. Neil who worked the front desk was a super nice guy. Great lace to sleep then go enjoy Lake Tahoe! We'll be back!

Cleanliness : cobwebs, yellow water stains in corner from ceiling, moldy shower curtains at bottom , dirty lights overall, gross carpet... I suspected something like that and slept in my cocoon sleeping bag

Easy access to ski resorts, very nice price, adequate accommodations

The personal service and touch. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, the owner left a bottle of wine and snacks for us. A sweet touch. We were going for views of the lake not the room.

Good location, free parking. Some of newer rooms looked nice from what I could see. Our friends had older 1 bed bedroom which was nice, bathroom upgraded. Affordable for Lake Tahoe.

Older hotel that has been neglected Our room was a suite with two rooms. Has been been neglected. Windows DO NOT LOCK, no AC just fans. Wall paper dingy, windows dirty, mirrors smeary, new carpet would be a plus, smelled old.

The owner makes this motel such a delightful place. He is extremely accommodating and personal. He even gave us a mango to enjoy for our breakfast. The motel is a throwback to motels of yesteryear. Fun to sit by the pool and have our morning coffee.

Paid 4 star price for 0 star. There were exposed wall stucco, burnt furniture, all furniture had paint splattered on them, pillows were dingy yellow, construction/finish seemed like it was done personally. There was a school desk as furniture.

Our room was not 2 beds..so they gave us 2 adjoining rooms...same price

Photos very misleading. This hotel is a dump and dirty. Manager was very nice.

Best price for a quick stay.

The heater was noisy and turned itself off , I would wake up freezing to turn it on again. The usual tobacco smell on linens.
