Kern Riverfront Lodge

It has a great location right on the water within 40 ft.the hotel is quite charming with its carved bears.the staff is friendly and the set up is nice.

The upstairs room controls the down stairs heat, and was turned off so we froze our buts off all night. Had to open electric oven at 6am to heat room.trying to get refund,but we will have to see.

The room was in the best possible location within the Kernville area. The river and surrounding park area were just a few steps out my front door. The main town was a short walk outside my back door.

There was an in wall AC/Heater above the bed that was extremely loud, such that I had to turn it off to sleep. Much of the furnishings were in poor condition, with blinds that let in light in the morning and only 1 3-prong outlet.

The location is the best! The room was great and very comfortable, my dog came along and enjoyed himself as well.

The bathroom was really small.

Cozy detached and well-located cottage with adequate heating and electric fireplace. Pet friendly as well.

Pre-arrival instructions. Ease of check-in/out after hours. Had no interaction with staff because of arrival and departure times, but all handled prior to arrival and with registration cards in room.

Lack of ventilation fan in Bathroom. A little sag in bed but not bad.

We stayed downstairs & the upstairs suite has hardwood flooring, which is fine, people wallk, it is ok but you can hear EVERYTHING. The people upstairs were not mindful or considerate of us at all. Be ware!

Very spacious and close to the Kern River.

The TV reception was out and we couldn't get the heater to work. We still had a great time.

Kernville is beautiful, it was booked as a pitstop on the way from Las Vegas to Yosemite but we fell in love with this town. The accommodation has everything you need to get through the night, which is all that was required, as long as you book on that basis you won't be disappointed. Location-wise you couldn't ask for better, my son could have built dams in that river for a week and we loved that we could walk to get icecream, pizza and breakfast, just perfect really. You can park right out front across the road.

Fit an extractor fan to the bathroom, sleeper couch needs a deep clean or better still replacing.

Full kitchen/fridge. Stocked bathroom. Clean.

Some of the usb ports on the lamp in the bedroom were broken, but there were still enough working ones.

The room was a charming efficiency accommodation, reasonably priced, in a quaint town. The inn is in a nice location on the riverfront.

The lodge was the perfect little place for a quick getaway. I was able to cook dinner and breakfast in the well equipped kitchen. I liked that the lodge did not smell like a hotel.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like. Everything was perfect.

Great little place to stay cozy, comfortable, clean. Beautiful area great little restaurant right behind the hotel.

We got there after hours (no Office Staff), but we called the #, & followed Simple instructions. ?Friendly (by phone), & #1 was clean, & spacious. ? Loved it!
