Great location, close to entrance, very convenient.

Hot water took some time to arrive - thought at first there was none - so just wait a bit :)

Unfortunately, things went downhill very quickly. A terrible, foul odor developed that would not go away. The owner sent someone over to assist after hours, but arriving with air freshener did not help the situation, The odor was sewer like and so strong we had to stay outside. We were only there for one nite and decided to make the best of it since too late to leave. When we went back in to do the dishes there was no hot water and I had to boil water in order to clean them properly. We had no hot water in the evening (was told after hours), and after one person took a shower in the morning there was no hot water for the next person.We contacted the owners upon our return and asked for a discount due to the problems we incurred. The management office stated they were going to give a 50% discount, but we never received it. When asked again we were given several reasons including a change of management.

Location was excellent. About a 3 minute drive to west park entrance. Very spacious. Beds were very comfortable with quality bedding. My husband wants me to track down the brand of the pillows as they were extremely comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipt. We only stayed for 1 night- a family could easily stay there a week. The kitchen separates two rooms which was nice- you can close it off and make breakfast without waking everyone. The value was exceptional for what you get. Other reviews about no hotwater are NOT correct. There is a sign that tells you to let the water run. It was absolutely hot and plentiful. Staff was extremely responsive and friendly.

Quaint but comfortable! Felt right at home. The coffee beans and grinder provided were excellent.

The heater in Room 1 takes about 15 mins to heat up - but once it did, it stayed on.

it was hard to figure out light switches; the on call lady did a good job explaining and I got it going it was a bit dark inside and I never could get the heater going on the unit; fortunately it wasn’t too cold

I really loved the outside patio area. And the quarters were spacious. I didn't use any of the kitchen, we were just there for a little more than 16 hours.

The property and room was so peaceful. Everything was very clean and organized. The beds were comfortable and it was perfect for my family.

The experience was easy and communication was great. We felt very safe and comfortable the entire time.

The place looked great, and was very spacious. Good location, walkable to JT Saloon etc. Big stove for cooking.

Most of the light switches were working which was a bit confusing. And some of the lamps provided didn't have switches so had to keep plugging in and out which was a bit annoying.A thicker curtain in the bedroom might be nice as street facing

Authentic, spacious flat with BBQ and outdoor seating. Great oven.

Could need some more working lights. Pretty dark inside. No toaster but a dirty micro oven.

The location is great. Close to Joshua Tree National Park. We were without heat, but manager sent over a space heater & a couple of throw blankets.

Inadequate lighting, no warm water, Blinds behind bed would not go down so people could see into our bedroom, Two remote wall heaters blew cold air and we needed heat. The gas stove was flashing PF, perhaps Power failure. Draft from windows & doors was cold. Fortunately we had a heavy blanket in our car for emergencies. Just did not expect to need it at Joshua Tree Ranch House.

I was pleased with the property’s convenient location, easy to find yet set away from the main street. Room 1 was spacious, featuring its own kitchen, a bedroom with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. The living room area included a bunk bed and a dining table, providing plenty of space for a comfortable stay. Plenty of space to park.

The lighting throughout the rooms was insufficient, leaving the space too dark. The water pressure in the sink was very low, and it took over five minutes for warm water to come through. Additionally, the lockbox was difficult to open. The air conditioning could not be run unless someone was in the room, and it couldn’t be set below 74°F, with guests being held responsible for any damage to the portable unit. The rooms also felt outdated and could benefit from renovation.

Unique concept in lodging, dude ranch style. Very comfortable and everything I needed for overnight.
