Room 3 - Downtown Joshua Tree Motel - Pet Friendly - Walk to Shops & Visitor Center, Minutes to Park Entrance

Wish we had our dog. This place was so ready, with a cute dog bed, bowls and a dog toy. Comfy bed for us, kitchenette with all we would need, even coffee beans and a grinder.

This was a charming room with helpful amenities such as a very cool retro mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower, and pet food and water bowls. No TV, but free wifi is available.

I loved how quaint and cute it was. I really loved how close the motel was to the national park and the restaurants in town. I loved the little kitchen area too. The bed was also very comfortable.

The floors were a little dirty especially in the bathroom along with the toilet being a little dirty as well.

Nice quiet location and room. I love all the wood. Very close to the park entrance, making it easy to drive 20 mins and see the stars in JT at night.

Bathroom sink pipe leaked. Air Co dinner dripped water below on our heads in bed.

I really liked the place, particularly the kitchenette which was stocked with fresh coffee and tea as well as a microwave, toaster and fridge. The outdoor area is also really nice, picturesque even!

I don't think the room was cleaned before I arrived. The bathroom had a dried puddle of ... something that I threw a towel over. And the kitchen sink area was also kind of gross. Also, while I appreciated the glassware and silverware, they were all stored in cabinetry that had a thick coat of dust. Now just to be fair, NONE of this would stop me from coming back but it would make me think twice about bringing my girlfriend. We normally stay at the Joshua Tree Inn or the Harmony Motel where the room price is similar.

Location. Nice towels. Close to Joshua Tree. Good coffee beans. Little kitchenette.

No microwave. No ice. Bed had plastic mattress pad and got very hot in the night as no regular mattress pad on top of it. No nightstand and light. Outdoor furniture was too dirty to sit on. It didn’t have covers to protect from the trees. Outside garden areas looked tired and needed sprucing up. Broken garden ornaments.

Cute place. No one on duty for check in, but instructions were detailed.

Wifi, but no TV. Kitchen supplies were limited. Had to empty tea back in coffee filter and run through coffee maker. Electric tea kettle would be a good addition. Could have supplied an ice cube tray.

check in was very easy and the property was very nice and in a convenient location. the room and bathroom were clean overall.

Some weird people going in and out of their rooms at 3-4 am. Looking at the front of the building you get a tweaker vibe as what once was the front office is a dwelling for someone who likes to pile up junk and or dismantle various items in the front yard. I did not have any problems but thats my take on it.

The proximity to Joshua Tree National Park is exceptional, and there were numerous eateries/ coffee places immediately near-by. Fantastic location.
