Location is awesome, staff is great. Food was excellent

Ants in the room, asked for a roll-away and promised and did not deliver. Train goes by every hour or so and is pretty loud.

Amazing views, big room and wonderful staff! Can't really find a better place to stay in Del Mar. Highly recommended if you want to make the best of what Del Mar has to offer.

Would have liked some water in the room. But that's the only thing I could 'complain' about.

Kind staff, Location, esthetics, spacious accommodations, access to town and beach cleanliness, it checked all the boxes

Clarity on which facilities were available for use within the booking. Eg swimming pool, health club

The unit was good although we were told that there was no AC in the unit. It was cool enough at night to keep us comfortable. The location is a bit far from San Diego. We incurred traffic both ways during the day. The biggest issue with the train! It runs all day and latest was around 11pm Friday night and it blows the whistle!!! That sucked.

The villa is a little isolated with respect the hotel’s amenities but still 10/10 worth it

I wish I knew to ask for the unit with the bathtub, but other than that, I was THRILLED to stay here! The ocean view and sounds filled our villa and it was so relaxing. The staff was prompt when we needed towels, pillows and had questions. We were safe walking around late on property. It was amazing!

I only missed being in the Villa with the tub. According to photos we would have one, but ended up with a beautiful shower. Everything was clean, so I have no complaints at all!

Ambience and view from our room was top notch.

Some troublesome things: our room safe wouldn’t open at all; and the coffee maker machine did not always work correctly and has obviously seen better days.

Check in was slow but they gave us complimentary champagne

The property was very close to the beach and we had a nice view . It is a very clean unit.

There was no air conditioning which would would not have been a problem but it was very warm and humid and you had to keep the windows open and fans on at all times. The trains ran very often and the train tracks are located very close to the property. We did not get a good night's sleep. I would not recommend this property and it it is very overpriced for a property that has no AC and is very close to a train track.We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and visiting family.

There was no breakfast provided. The location was execellent with a beautiful view of the beach. Love the balcony, the cathedral ceilings, windows, kitchen, living room, and bedroom. We were impressed. When we entered the unit we both said "Wow"!!!! We really appreciated the complimentary bottle of champagne and candy for our 50th wedding anniversary!!

I can't think of anything. We loved the unit.
