    Pros +

    • The location on the beach
    • The ‘Views’ tiwer was a dream sequence!!! We trued to extend but couldn’t. Seminggu up I breaking waves under the moonlight - surreal! Coffeeshop on the lanai - Worthington every Penny of the upgrade!!!
    • Location-Restaurants on premises and nearby offered excellent dining options. Staff was great in all aspects. The grounds were kept in great condition, and the room was spotless. We relaxed by our fire pit hearing the waves crash at the beach. Very nice.

    Cons -

    • Overpriced extras that could easily have been included. "Resort credit" not clearly explained and didn't cover all incidentals
    • The shower should have instructions poster. The coffeemaker was extremely slow.
    • Ice machine across from our room 6104 was not working- it was powered on but no ice for 2 days. no time to report it. I did not like having to text my requests or assistance, Id prefer someone answer the phone. Tried calling but got message machine with

The location is great and rooms were clean.

My only issue was that I was not given the room that I had paid for and was told it wasn’t available so got a smaller and inferior level of room.

we have being coming to this hotel for over 20 years, its like a dream , my family and i just love it . we look forward all year long for this thanksgiving trip to the del . its was magical , ice skating and drinking hot cholate by a fire

    The holiday decorations.

The hotel is listed as a resort however it is open to the public including all restaurants and grounds,it was waste of money when we could have experienced it for free. The room was not to a standard that justified the price.old, outdated, dingy

    Location. Overall charm and architecture.

The $55 resort fee at the checkout was a surprise. There was a $55 per day valet fee¿we chose to walk a few minutes and self park. The bathroom was on the small side for sure. There should be a few more directory signs in the hallways for the lobb

Location was perfect. Facility was nice.

Service wasn¿t great. Took hours to get our bags to the room. Asked for a crib for our baby several times and didn¿t get one till 9:30 at night. Rooms are suppose to be ready at 4 and weren¿t ready till after 5. Restaurants were way overpriced.

    Beautiful and clean

We were put in the room directly above the Crown Event room and a wedding reception/party with a DJ had music and live band blasting loudly until midnight when we were very tired and needed sleep.

    The location is amazing!

The staff seemed overwhelmed, and the facility could use some updating. Not a good value for the cost.

    4ShirleyPosted on: 1-10-2023

    Historic location

Incident with parking valet ; valet was not helpful and they required additional documentation for handicap parking which is illegal

    Historic value and location.

Old and not as convenient as newer hotels.

    8MaryPosted on: 11-19-2022

History, holiday decorations, restaurants, beach front, gardens, tour of property, friendly and helpful staff

Morning noise, worn carpet and furniture

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-31-2022

Amazing location, unbelievable property. Price includes breakfast buffet that would be a $120 value for 2 people.

It seems like there¿s too much staff and for every 5 staff members only 2 know what they¿re doing. Also do they really need to charge $--- for a day bed to someone who is already staying there? I mean this is hardly a phenomenon unique to this hotel¿

    10RebeccaPosted on: 5-9-2022

Location and staff were super amazing, along with all the activities the hotel offers.

The room looked worn, bathroom had a lot of paint peeling and ceiling pain in bedroom was peeling.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-25-2022

Everything you. need in one place! Great access to the beach and views!

Construction happening without telling me. Went for a relaxing trip and woke to hammers.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-18-2022

    It's location, uniqueness and history.

Required a lot more walking than a senior likes. It shook too much during the earthquake.

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-28-2022

    Location

The front desk service was slow, sparse, had to wait a long time for service, they were not helpful. The room was stuffy, noisy, extremely far from any stairs or elevator. I feel the room was extremely overpriced.

    4Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 1-2-2022

Location and beauty outside. Friendliness of staff.

We were place in a ground floor room, must have been the old section. Head of bed slanted down. Floor completely uneven. Room smelled. Dog barking all night next door.
