The breakfast is decent, although the breads/pastries are only average. The hot dishes are good and they get extra points for having a waffle-maker. It's a pleasant-looking facility with good parking.

Waay too many cats hanging around! Makes it awkward traveling with my dog, because she has to bark at the cats (of course). Also, the lava-rock areas outside the front doors always have cat poo and it's nearly impossible to keep the dog away from it.

Staff was great and pleasant. I loved the grounds and little park and picnic area.

We did not have hot water for first night. Staff reset water heater and we had it for morning showers. A lot of exterior doors for water heaters and electrical were missing - looked tacky.

The breakfast was ok.. There was a nice variety of choices. I wish it had lasted a bit longer. I was tired and slept in past the buffet hour. My husband brought me a few items he knew I liked. I also liked the cats, who seemed to be residents of the motel.

The roof needs much attention. It had missing tiles and was open at the edges, which allowed man pigeons to nest under the tiles. Pigeons can be very messy.
