The Rambler Hotel

The staff was great. The young lady who checked us in Thursday, September 3rd at 8:30 p.m. was great.

Lighting in the bathroom over the sink in the double Queen rooms could use some updating. Can't see to do your makeup or your hair. Super dark. Our room smelled musty like old smoke. And I requested a 5:00 a.m. wake up call and I never received it.

The lobby and coffee shop were very appealing. Clean and nice decor. The coffee was great and the 30% discount was a perk!

I booked this hotel from the reviews, I booked two queen beds and room was facing the freeway which could be heard all day and night. The shower dispenser were not working.

Room size was a bit small. And the pool should close at 10 during the summer

The bed was very comfortable, other than that... nothing.

I was placed in the handicap room, there were no amenities in the room (no hangers, no iron, no coffee), there was also no shelve space in the bathroom or room.

The staff are amazing

Well I paid for a supreme room and was given a standard room but was charged the supreme rate. Our room was not fully cleaned and was dusty and that caused me to cough all night witch cause lack of sleep.

Clean, very close to downtown, well maintained with a festive 1960s California theme, pool looked great (a bit cold to use right now)

Very cute, retro vibe. Easy access to i5. Small cafe and store on site. Hotel was clean, beds and pillows were very comfy. Pool was heated and clean. Near restaurants and some stores and across from the bay. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Only suggestion would be some towel hooks in the bathroom area, a full length mirror and the pool staying open til 10pm.

Cafe - forgot to book extra day - they accommodated me while I was unable to check back in at scheduled time due to being at work,

Killed two spiders - smelled musty - sketchy guest - thin walls can hear most things - rude staff

It was cool and kitschy. Loved the theme and vibe of the place.

Maybe upgrade the bathroom at some point. Though shower pressure was amazing.

AC blows cold. A bit overpriced but there is a cafe onsite. Rooms looked clean. TV was big and had lots of channels.

Easy access to highway. Good air conditioner. Movies at the pool on Saturdays.

Convenient location

The rooms are terrible. It so outdated. First thing I got in the room is to kill bugs. This hotel is no where near 3-star.
