The location and the room was large

The pillows were flat and there was no bar soap. Went to the store next door to purchase

Very clean, with lots of extra touches. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

There was easy access to the beach. The stairs were difficult for my elderly mother.

Spacious, clean, quiet, great location two blocks from the beach. Had a comfy recliner for watching TV or working, which was unique and a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff who offered free continental breakfast for the road when I checked out.

Nothing; great hotel find.

It's very clean and spacious, and not right at the main tourist spot, so noise is not very common. I feel comfortable and safe during my stay. Cayucos is a beautiful seaside town.

Since this is right next to the main road and a market, you can hear cars driving by and stopping, not a big issue as everything quiets down a lot after 10 or 11 pm. My husband is a light sleeper and he said he "slept okay", so I call that a win.

I choose Cayucos Beach Inn because it is Dog Friendly. I have stayed here before. I was surprised how there was a staff changed. But, that was a good thing. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Very pleased with our hotel stay.

Due to covid.. No morning breakfast.. Really a bummer.. The hotel did offer fruit & coffee.

Cleanliness, friendly, amenities, location to restaurants and ocean

Clean, location, friendly staff.

It was clean!! All appliances were updated and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We felt well rested. The location was conveniently close to their downtown. The cutest thing was it had a door viewer on the bottom for your pet to peep out. :)

Comfortable living room plus decent sized King bedroom. Bathroom remodeled nicely. Location close to Walking downtown for essentials, dining & shopping.

King bed was not as comfy as I’d like, a bit too hard & squeaky.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was honestly the largest I've ever been in for a regular hotel room. It was incredibly clean, and everything in it worked correctly. The grounds outside are pretty, clean, and well-kept.

I do wish the free breakfast had included more hot foods like scrambled eggs or waffles or sausages. But honestly, for the room price, it was a great meal.

Front desk reception was friendly and warm. Room was surprisingly spacious and clean.

There was no hot breakfast items (scrambled eggs, waffles/pancakes, bacon/sausage) though there were pastries, yogurt, juice and coffee/tea.

Location good but not a beachfront property.

The staff was accommodating and it was pet friendly. Pet rate was very affordable unlike other hotels. Room was a little dated but everything functioned well and was very clean.

Location is great. Friendly staff. The room is well kept, looks beautiful & room size is huge.

Excellent location to start highway 1 journey from south. Very spacious clean room, and great breakfast. It is next to a grocery store and very close to a gas station.

noise from upstairs

The room was big and more like an appartement. It had everything you could wish for. You could easily walk to the sea. Supermarket was literally just around the corner. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it.

The location was excellent! Walking distance to great restaurants, the beach and the Brown Butter Cookie Company! This hotel was also one of the cleanest I have seen. There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere and it was in good repair.

The floor was bare, I think because it was pet friendly, although we didn't bring a pet. I think I like a rug or carpet on the floor, but that is just a personal preference.

Is clean and the location is good.

The chairs in the breakfast room need to be replace. (dirty)
