The owners were so great. They were able to help us with everything we needed!

We had so much fun in Carmel Valley we barely got time to spend at the hotel - but it was so cute!

The room was a generous size and the bed was extra comfy! There was a refrigerator and lots of choices for a coffee maker, a bottle opener and other items that came in handy.It was fairly quiet and walking distance to other shops and places to eat.

A bit dated in some respects but overall it was a nice stay.

Love that they provide bottled water, paper plates, paper, bowls, cutting board, etc - plenty of conveniences for travelers. Love the contactless check-in.

While it is a safe area, the door latch/lock to our room didn’t feel super secure when we were out. There was a deadbolt, so we were fine when we were in the room.

Very cozy. Very comfortable bed. Private. Garden area. Nice pool.

The location of the lodge is perfect, steps away from downtown. The room we had was cozy, clean and had all amenities of a 4 star property. Lovely pool, homy surroundings, and all around good vibe place.I want to mention the property owner, Carola Anders, who was very welcoming and kind. Thank you, CAROLA! We'll be back! Alina & Brian

Great little motel in Carmel Valley. We stayed here while attending a wedding nearby. It was clean and comfortable, and check-in and check-out were quite seamless.

Very clean budget minded motel. At first, I couldn’t get into my room, so the owner had to show up. The cleaner had bolted the door. Then I found there was absolutely no soap or amenities in the bathroom. They were brought to me the next day about 1. Very nice lady but this wasn’t acceptable. They supplied bottles of water and coffee which was nice. Extremely convenient location and the folks at the market next door were so kind. The pool was clean but I didn’t use it

Our tv was on when we arrived after a day out. When we left the room earlier the tv was not on. It appears that someone came into our room while we were out for the day

Perfect location. Walking distance to everything. Really comfortable bed. Short drive to Garland Regional Park.

Aroma scents in the room. I am sensitive to these.

It was quiet, not in the center of Carmel. There was a little store right next door (able to walk to). The bed and bedding were SO comfortable!

Not sure if this is something that is typical of the area (being from the East Coast) but we were surprised at the fact that there was no air conditioning (2 fans in the room). We were here during a rare heat wave. The "door" to the room was a slider, with a key, it was a little tricky to get the hang of, especially in the dark. Being that it was a lodge, it had a bit of a musty smell to it.

Clean, comfortable, and surround by some great local restaurants and wineries. Great owner!

The room was a little cozy, but it had a very comfortable king bed and was very clean.

We had a lovely stay. We had a small problem during check-in, but Angela from Kacey’s next door was incredibly helpful. After that it was all smooth!Exceptionally clean, spacious, quality furnishings and towels. Windows on both sides so it’s easy to get a breeze going and air out the room. I would definitely recommend!

Rooms appear to be well insulated. We didn’t hear noise from other rooms. The bed was comfortable and t was easy to check in.

No air in the room which wasn’t an issue for me but could have been problematic for the second guest if it was warner out. The property should disclose that information for people that overheat.There are two floor fans and a ceiling fan but again, for people that overheat easily, that may be insufficient. Full disclosure allows guests to make an informed decision. The outside of the property is dated and a bit alarming. Based on the outside, I wanted to turn around and leave but the cost ($237 minus tax) wasn’t refundable. Therefore, I stayed.

Great location and price. Everything is in walking distance. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. Great service. Carola is amazing and very accommodating. This is my new go to place!

First time being here ! It was very accomdating and comfortable ! Corolla was very nice to me and made sure my stay was perfect ! I am handicapped and she made sure I was taken care of ! The lodge is unique as it is small but quaint and there are many restaurants close by ! The inside of the room was very nice and had many features that made us very comfortable ! I will visit this lodge again !! David
