National 9 Inns

Room was filthy. It smelt musky and very dusty. Smoke detector wasn't even in the ceiling, it was hanging out of the ceiling hole. The bathroom had blood on the wall. The shower had drain pieces missing. Beds were terrible.

Convenient and inexpensive

Road noise sounded like they¿re doing laundry up above me. There was a rumbling half the night the bed was kind of vibrating.

The gals at the front desk were so kind to let us switch rooms to a street level room also upgraded our room to king size bed.

Toilet and bathtub seems to drain really slow

TV did not work half the time. The bathroom had a leak at the sink. Person had to replace the water line. The lid on the toilet was broken and was glued together and the nob was very loose. Do not want to stay there again.

We did care for this hotel at all!

The room was not completely put together, the bathtub was partially assembled. There was a lamp between the beds that was broken, the only window in the room was broken, we left because we didn¿t feel safe to find another room for the night.

I really appreciated the outstanding friendliness and customer service that Ted and his staff exhibited! They were more than happy and willing to accommodate us and any requests we had!

There was no breakfast options but they do offer coffee etc... 24 hrs.

Its proximity to the freeway and to Buttonwillow Raceway.

The room didn't feel clean and there was a slight odor.

The hotel bed was not of very good quality, very poor. The shower faucets did not work and the water was shut off. I'll never go back to this shite hole again.

Tolerable if you want to be out of the cold for a night and are travelling alone.

Dirty. Wall plugins hanging off. Stains in bathroom. Some lights worked some didn't. Dead bolt was coming off the wall and only attached by one screw. Just a depressing, pokey, dirty motel room. Fine if you want to be out of the cold for a night.

This is a basic economy motel, nothing fancy. The room was clean, linen and towels were clean and fresh, and there were no bugs (and we did look). The owner works check-in and was friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and felt safe and comfortable.

Interior trim and baseboards are showing their age.

Shabby room condition. Air conditioner barely worked. No TV, phone, hand towels, ice bucket, drinking glasses. Very disappointing.

Location. Easy access to freeway.

Not clean. Flies and moths in the room. Even though we got non smoking room, smoke smell everywhere and couldn¿t sleep at all. Mattress and pillow are not comfortable. Not worth for the price and stars given.

Pool and hot tub were closed due to Covid. Also they did not provide breakfast as claimed blaming Covid.

The first room I checked into was missing a toilet seat, the second was missing a security latch. Dirty walls, water? Stains in the carpets...

They are rip offs the workers stole my baby's diapers and her piggy bank with money in it.

Yes the employees was very rude and they also like to rip people off. And they stoled my babies diapers and her piggy bank that had money in it. I would not recommend anyone to stay at the national 9 inn. Everything about this motel is bad. There's others

Loved the location of this hotel. I'd never heard of Buttonwillow, CA, but I liked that it was close enough to the main city of Bakersfield but far enough away to make you feel like you had gotten away from the hustle and bustle of it all as well.

Staff did not provide even a single roll of extra toilet paper. The ice bucket didn't have a liner sheet & the Rep had to give me a gallon sized ziplock bag as a substitute. There is a $30 deposit that everybody has to pay but no one tells you about.

YES THEY HAD BUGS!!! CRAWLING ON TABLE WE DIDNT EVEN PUT THINGS DOWN BACK TO CAR AND OFFICE WE WENT.. WE DID NOT STAY
