Located on the Virginia Creek, guests can enjoy fishing and fish-cleaning facilities at this lodge. A restaurant is on site, offering breakfast and dinner. Guest rooms feature free Wi-Fi. An private bathroom is provided in all guest rooms. Creek-side cottages offer a kitchenette and some rooms boast a TV. If guests prefer a more natural experience, tents are available for rent. All tents are unheated at the Virginia Creek Settlement. Picnic tables, fire pits, and raised barbecue stands are available for guest use at the Settlement Virginia Creek. The famed John Wayne has also stayed in this rustic lodge. Bridgeport is less than 10 minutes’ drive from the property. Mono Lake is 20 minutes’ drive away and Bodie Ghost Town is 14 miles from the lodge.

- The motel rooms feel like you?re in a cabin and there?s a fire pit off the back porch. The restaurant is one of my favorites anywhere. Try the Eggs Benedict for breakfast. The pizza is excellent!
- The creek was right behind the room. They provided ingredients for s?mores so we made them by the fire at the rivers edge. Very nice experience. There is a very good restaurant on the premises so we had breakfast, lunch and dinner there, all very good.
- Awesome, homey cabins on the creek. Very close to Tavertine hot springs. Delicious food made in a family style, with warm staff. My toddler and teen loved feeding the fish. Great spot!
Cons -
- There is a bit of traffic noise from the highway.
- I am sensitive to smells and I didnt care for the smell too much because the soap or cleaner or something was too perfumey. Most people wouldnt mind it, Im sure.
- Was unable to reach property because of closed roads.
