Anaheim Desert Inn & Suites

The location is the best thing about this hotel and the only reason I would consider staying here again.

The hotel itself felt a bit janky. The carpet and blanket seemed really dirty. There wasn’t a good place to put your luggage to keep off the carpet. No closet. No conditioner or body wash. No free luggage storage or early check in, even for a fee.

Definitely the location

We asked the front desk about the airport shuttle service that you advertise in your information that is in the room. And they knew nothing about it. They said they check into it and give us a call and they never called.

The room was spacious and comfortable.

The maids made up the room after the second night stay even though we had a do not disturb sign on the door. The breakfast food was also very limited, but the eating space was even more so.

The staff was very friendly and really helpful with all of our questions.

I was really disappointed with the breakfast bar. I with there had been more to it.

If you want to pay extra day for parking is expensive.

Beds were super uncomfortable and ac was not cooling

The distance to the Harbor entrance to the Disneyland Resort was absolutely an essential aspect of making this stay awesome. I appreciated having a room with a separated space where my toddler could sleep. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The living room area of our suite was a bit stuffy since the air conditioner wasn't adequate enough to reach that room. The continental breakfast was just okay; luckily I brought food for my toddler since there wasn't much she was able to eat.

The breakfast included with the room was only ok. Nothing fresh except some hard boiled eggs. They also had cereal for the kids.

The parking company is devious and untrustworthy especially the supervisor who thought he could get over on me with an extra $52. He must get commission for overcharging people for parking on checkout day. They do NOT inform you that if you drive out at 1:02 instead of 1pm they will charge you the extra fee. Ridiculous , I am disabled and got to the office at 1:50 by the time they checked me out, I was driving off at 1:02pm. My receipt from checkout shows the original 25 dollar charge for 1 night. As soon as I left the parking company charged me an additional 52 dollars for parking!! Who pays 75 dollars parking for 1 night? It’s a hustle and I did not authorize the additional 52 on my card for driving out at 1:02 pm. I wonder how many people they tried this with or people just didn’t notice. Disputing with my credit card company and contacted Anaheim City hall to inform them of this parking company’s shady dealings. Please be aware when staying here. I have always stayed here and NEVER have I had an issue with the parking so it must be either a new company or a change of management. Smh when contacted they talked in circles and couldn’t explain what the charge was added and who authorized it. The hotel says parking is a different company and the company was just talking but not saying anything, which told me they have done this for awhile and gotten away with it.

Staff, location and cleanliness were great!

Lights from outside were very bright I wished there were blackout curtain that could be pulled over the blinds

Front desk are very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and a good size.

Parking is very limited. For breakfast I expected alittle more option then just toast and yogurt.

Breakfast could have had more types of pastries to choose from it also could have served bagels with cream cheese. also the rooms you can hear all the noise from the outside

I liked how close it is to Disneyland entrance. We got in around 10am and they let us park our vehicle there on site while we went into Disneyland. I just had to come back and get my room card after 3pm. Very easy check in.

Very close to Disneyland! Rooms were clean, bed is great if you like a softer mattress. Plenty of room and enjoyed having a door between the pullout bed room for our extended family. Very close walk to restaurants. Staff was great. Room rate for our stay dates were significantly cheaper than surrounding hotels

The parking lot was full and hard to turn around. Spent quite a while looking for a spot. Valet finally moved a car to underground parking and we got a spot. I would not like to valet or have my car in a small underground lot as it makes it more difficult to come and go as easily. Wish there was more parking spots. Paint and trim showing age in and around bathroom. Breakfast needs a bit of work. The cheese cubes and hard boiled eggs were so dry but cereal, juice and packaged pastries saved us.
