Pros +
- located where you see a true reflection of the countryside
- Great setting and beautiful property. Intimate character with all the expected amenities. Great staff and service.
- Wonderful hotel with a very large room, spacious bathroom, and well-planned walk in wardrobe. The service was excellent and made the stay even more enjoyable.
Cons -
- Kid activities
- Everything was good, but for a 5-star hotel I was expecting a small complimentary touch such as fresh flowers, fruit, or a welcome gift, which would make the stay feel more special (most hotels in Europe do this)For a 5-star property in such a warm location, the pool seemed quite plain and the sun loungers rather outdated. An upgrade of this area would greatly improve the guest experience.
- Was a little disappointed when my friends that joined us received anniversary perks but my husband and I (also celebrating our anniversary) did not.

Amenities and restaurants were great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Four Seasons held their impeccable service standard here.
Beautiful
Was a little disappointed when my friends that joined us received anniversary perks but my husband and I (also celebrating our anniversary) did not.
The room was very well done, and extremely comfortable and the fireplace was a nice touch since the weather was on the cool side at night and mornings. The outside patio was beautiful and relaxing. We've traveled at other Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton's and have been given daily credits to use for food or activities, I wish the breakfast was included or was given a daily credit of some sort. The breakfast was just ok, nothing special.
Some of the food was just quickly put together, Proof Restaurant was a little disorganized. I had to wait in the morning for breakfast for a while when the tables were empty. We had about 3 different servers, had to wait, and finally catch one to give us our bill. The breakfast was nothing special.

The friendly staff made up for the small and limited spa space. The treatments were wonderful.
We had Christmas dinner at the Talavera restaurant and it was crowded - we were prepared for that, however, the food was awful and very pricey. We spent our dinner watching other tables complain and return their disheand we fely so bad for the hardworking staff that we didn't complain, we just left the uneaten food. I'm all for pushing the boundaries on a menu, and trying for signature dishes but........just sooooo bad and we spent a small fortune on that inedible dinner.
The beautiful landscape and the casita was extremely comfortable!
Loved everything about it including the amazing staff!
We have been coming here once or twice a year for about 15 years. It's our favorite hotel in the world. However, the prices have developed exorbitantly after the Corona period. Whether overnight stay or the restaurant prices have increased by 20-30%. But the little things that used to make it special are missing: a greeting card in the room with for example: Homemade salsa, quality cosmetics, open fire on the patio in front of the bar, etc. The rooms have been redesigned, but the small chest of drawers in the storage area does not correspond to any attractive design, nor is it practical to use next to the suitcases and shoes. The new tile design is certainly a matter of taste, but so much white gives the bathroom the impression of a hospital. I don't want to say in general that everything was better in the past, but we liked some things better.
Not the usual four seasons standards that i have come to expect!I have been to most of the four seasons hotels over the last 20 years and unfortunately the service and my requests were not met, if I had not been paying over a thousand dollars for one night I would not have worried about the poor service, but for the cost, the service, food and cleanliness were very poor
Poor service, poor food and a different menu as advertised on the website, cleanliness not up to four seasons standards, my room requirements were not ready on arrival despite being told they would be, not enough staff to cope with all the guests, the two, four seasons hotels in San Francisco we stayed at after and before our night at the scottsdale hotel were far superior despite being a third or more cheaper
The desert scenery in which the hotel was set was the highlight of the trip.
There were areas of the room that could've been more deeply cleaned. The toilet had stains behind it, which I noticed when I dropped something on the floor. There was an area in the bathroom, a wall, that needed to be wiped down as it had a substance on it. Also, there was an area by the fireplace that was missing some plaster. The kinds of things you wouldn't tolerate at home and you especially notice when you are away from it.
The service everywhere at the hotel is EXCEPTIONAL. Literally every employee goes out of his way to make your experience impeccable. Some of the best service I have ever experienced. EVER! Keep it up!
I'd love to see a better/ bigger pool. With a tropical island in the middle, a waterfall and a kids' slide! Check out Four Seasons Maui at Wailea. Do that - and this hotel will be an exceptional property!
Great location, fabulous property,friendly staff.Good food.will
The hotel as a whole was nothing to speak negatively about. My issue with the hotelis the cost/value. The same sentiment was shared by the 50 people who attended rhe same wedding as I - It’s much more comparable to hotels below $350. They try to justify it in ask eye-rolling way, with a few upgrades, like l’occitane shampoo bottles or “upgrades” no one needs that them to charge more but don’t justify anywhere close to the price they charge. Maybe $500/night because of the wealth around. But $1,000?For $1000/night it better be pretty damn perfect. Luxury. This was 70% there. The staff were mostly great, don’t get me wrong. But those poor employees stand no chance against expectations that accompany a $1000 price tag.
Value.
Do use of the Mercedes Benz to go around town that was wonderful and the staff for exceptionally helpful
The prices at the restaurant were extremely high for the value
Crescent mountain next to us and the cacti. One staff, whose name was Chase was great.
For the cost, the services and attention was limited. It felt like we were staying at a average $200/night hotel for $600/night. Just was not as warm and welcoming as one would expect. Had to approach the staff to ask for things and they made us feel like we were a bother. Great area for peace and quiet. The only down side in regards to location is that there is only one restaurant and one grill. Any reasonable restaurants are about a 30 minute car ride away. Bed very comfy, but expected a little more from four seasons for the room. It was simply nice.
Pool staff was extremely attentive. All areas were clean and very well maintained.
Room service items were almost twice the price of the same menu items at the pool or restaurants.
