Pros +
- The location to the Grand Canyon
- Casey the Cowboy is THE BEST! He is caring, warm and genuine. He greeted us on our arrival and when one of us wasn't feeling well he kept checking to see how we were doing. Cabin was warm/cozy and campfire entertainment was great! Food was excellent.
- The charm. Loved the horseshoe game, calf roping Set-up, the view was spectacular. The cottage was a little tight, but very clean. We loved the dinner, the entertainment, and the campfire with sâ≢mores. Very pleased with the overall experience.
Cons -
- The air conditioning unit leak condensation onto one of the beds. It began late at night, and I did not contact front desk regarding the matter. I was unable to use the air conditioning unit throughout the night. Unfortunately, it was a hot night.
- Other than Casey -- THE BEST! -- the staff was a disappointment. When we asked for coffee after dinner we were told that the burner was off. (They were still open for another hour.) Other than Casey, the staff didn't seem to care one way or another.
- The cottage was a little tight. Checkout procedures confusing. We left at 6:30 am and there was no one to check out with. So, just left the key on the bed. Had to return to the lodge for a charging cord that was left behind after our visit to the west rim
